Its definitely educational, but don't let young kids watch it with you.

Nah, I wouldn't. The only HBO documentaries I would let kids watch would be the sports ones.

I love Walk The Line. And, you're right, Reese didn't deserve an Oscar.

30 Days of Night was one of the last movies I watched, in the theater that is. That movie was incredibly freaky. I am the last one to ever get scared at a movie, but I must admit, that one came close, it had a lot of "WTF just happened!" moments. The makeup was really phenomenal. The ending sucked ass, though.

The Nanny Diaries
It was OK. Not as good as the book and not something that I'd necessarily want to watch again, but it was decent entertainment for 2 hours when I had nothing else to do.

The documentary "The Celluloid Closet". I'd been meaning to watch it since I read the original book by Vito Russo for my dissertation, but it was impossible to find-finally, I managed to acquire it...er, through entirely legal means, of course. It was very interesting, though of course it reminded me of a lot of classic films I need to get around to watching (like most of Dietrich's oeuvre, I've only seen two of her films).

last 2 movies I saw this week....
'Grace is Gone' and 'I am Legend'
Cusack crushed my heart in this little film that he also produced (I'm calling out for a Best Actor Oscar Nom) and Will Smith is, well, smokin hot, adorably cute (esp with the dog) but the annoying script had major holes in it. Oh well.

An ABC family movie called Holiday in Handcuffs. Corny and predictable but cute.
