Yes! I bought the trilogy this past summer to introduce my boys to them and they loved it. I was worried they would think the special effects were old and lame.
Random Fact: I watched the film crew do the special effects for the tire flames a million years ago at the Twin Pines mall outside L.A.. It was highly disappointing. It was a cold evening and they took like 3 hours to set it up and then there were two lines of flames, they filmed it, it was over. We never saw a star or nothing.

I went to see Enchanted at the theater. GREAT movie. This is a good movie for mothers to take their young daughters to. It satirizes the whole Disney princess market and has some adult jokes that will go right over your kids' heads, making it hilarious at times. At the same time, it is very much a fairy tale that will entertain your kids and hold their attention.
Plus, it stars Patrick Dempsey and James Marsden (HOT!) as the love interests.

I couldn't get into the two sequels as much, especially the third movie. But the first one always cracks me up. Especially when Marty goes back in time to fix his parents up, and his mother ends up getting a crush on him and he's trying not to check out her breasts while she's flirting with him. But, then again, Lea Thompson was kind hot in that movie.

Believe it or not, I have never seen the Back to the Future movies. They're hugely popular with my generation, and I feel like I'm missing out! I have been on the ride at Disney World, though.
Are they available on DVD?

I just watched part of this when my daughter decided that 4am was a good time to get up (she's 5 months - doesn't understand it yet). It's been years since I'd watched it, and I was glued.

Yeah, the entire trilogy is out on DVD. If you've got HBO, they've been playing the first Back to the Future movie a lot lately.

The Hitcher.
I spent most of the movie wondering how people can be so fucking stupid. No wonder they get killed.

I just watched "Casablanca" on TCM. *sigh* Where is my dashing Rick Blaine?
You know, minus the chain smoking, alcoholic, wanted criminal part.

I've been meaning to check that out. I'll say one thing for HBO, they have some of the best documentaries.

Walk the Line - It was my second viewing, I liked it better this time. I still don't think Reese deserved the Oscar for her performance though.
