Deep Impact- *. That one star is for the tidal wave at the end, that was pretty awesome. Makes me wish i'd seen it at the cinema. The rest of the movie sucked.

The Fast and the Furious. I'd give it ** actually, because it was occasionally entertaining with the races.

Marie Antoinette. It was beautiful, a visual feast. I thought Kiki did a very good job. I wish it went all the way to her death though. The ending seemed kind of abrupt.

Picara, I was just going to ask if anyone had seen this movie yet and their reviews because I just rented it and plan on watching it tonight. Now i'm even more excited , though my boyfriend's less then thrilled..
Another one we rented and are going to watch tomorrow is, Babel with Cate Blanchett and Brad Pitt. Has anyone seen that yet, reviews?

movie review
"Catch and Release"
**- I was bored out of my mind watching this. The only reasons I gave it 2 is because Kevin Kline was very funny (he made it just bearable to keep watching) and I think Jennifer Garner is so darn cute.

^ Aw that sucks, I wanted to see it. Oh well, at least you saved me $9.50
I saw Because I Said So last weekend. Not worth it. Except for Mandy Moore and the guy who plays her "good" love interest, it was corny, dull, and just tried too hard to be 'cool'. Diane Keaton was especially irritating; I wanted to strangle her 3 minutes in.

Watched Kramer vs Kramer with Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep last night. The clothes from back then were just as ugly as I remember and the ending was very predictable. My daughter really enjoyed it though. I'd give it ***.
