I watched some B movie called Tidal Wave No Escape starring Corbin Bernsen. Its about someone creating tsunamis using nuclear weapons to create under sea earthquakes; makes me wonder if its actually possible.

I just saw The Mist last night. That was a disturbing movie, especially the ending.

I saw Enchanted tonight, it was so good. I posted more in the thread for the movie, but definitely worth seeing. Disney managed to bring themselves back to making good movies, or at least 1 good movie

past week or so:
i watched layer cake again.
damn, daniel craig's body... yum... even better than in 'casino royale', thinner, more lithe, a bit less muscular.
got sick of waiting for it to come out here or be available on dvd so i dl'd scott walker: 30 century man. really great documentary, very cheeky, and featuring everyone in british music from bowie to damon albarn to jarvis cocker to alison goldfrapp.
paris je t'aime. again. really sweet movie, puts you in the mood to go to paris.

I saw that piece of shit movie when it came out and almost walked out of the theater in the first five minutes. George Clooney nearly destroyed the Batman franchise, along with director Joel Schulmacher (sp). But Batman & Robin wasn't nearly as bad as Catwoman, which isn't saying much.

Um, last night I also watched Catch Me If You Can. It was good. A bit long. But Christopher Walken was heartbreaking, Leo Di Caprio was GREAT, and I always, always, always love Tom Hanks, no matter what he does.

i love that movie. i think it's my favourite spielberg. he's most famous for the big epic tales which i find heavy-handed but this one is surprisingly subtle. and yeah, walken had me bawling.
