Well I thought Primal Fear was an entertaining movie. I like all the actors, and Edward Norton was brilliant, the others did quite well, and I loved seeing John Mahoney in a sinister role. Overall, it was worth seeing.
However, there are a few glaring inaccuracies and inconsistencies that really made it difficult for me. First of all, one of the friends I watched it with graduated from the University of London Law School and I worked in law for many, many years, so it was very difficult for us to accept the dramatic license that the movie took with legal procedure. Also, if Aaron/Roy were really all that cunning of a psychopath, then why did he waste his time messing around with Archbishop Rushman unless there was something in it for him?
Perhaps the book goes into more detail and that part of it is fleshed out. Another thing that blew my mind was why they had Frances McDormand saying he had multiple personality disorder when only two were presented to the court/storyline. Multiple personality disorder is when three or more personalities are present, and I believe at least one of them knows what's going on at all times (can remember).
If I forget about those things, then I can say I really enjoyed it for its acting and dramatic value. It made me want to read the book to see just how much they butchered the original plot and details.
Half the time though, I was exclaiming "they can't do that/they don't do that!" and my law school friend was like "yeah, I know it's utterly ridiculous but watch the damn movie!"

^^Hubby agrees with all that but still shows it to his students because Norton's character is a classic sociopath.

Planet Terror- Absolutely rocked. I watched it twice. Rose McGowan is great. They all are. Great soundtrack.
Bobby- Too many characters doing things I didn't get or give a shit about. Really pretentious crap. Surprisingly Demi Moore is the best thing in the movie besides Shia LaBeouf. It made me interested in RFK though. Powerful speaker.

Great oratory used to be an integral part of American politics. Sad that it isn't so much any more.

Yes, and I believe he crossed the line into psychopath (from sociopath) when he committed the murders.
There was a big debate about the Scott Peterson case about the difference between socio and psycho. Finally one really good psychologist came on and explained the difference and then made the point that Peterson is a psychopath because he committed the murder. Sociopaths can commit murder but generally don't.

Beyond The Sea. Kate Bosworth was the perfect Sandra Dee and Kevin Spacey is so freaking talented.

I watched "An unfinished Life" with Robert Redford, Morgan Freeman and JLo. I really like Robert Redford and Morgan Freeman as actors. I enjoyed watching their scenes together. The film was alright, I guess. JLo just is a snore of an actress. I don't find her especially captivating to watch.

I watched "Strangers on a Train." For the 18th time. I LOVE that movie. Robert Walker is so fantastic, one of the best Hitchcock villains ever (my top Hitchcock villians are: Claude Rains, Joseph Cotten, Anthony Perkins, James Mason, and Robert Walker).
Also the girl who plays Guy Haines's's's bitchy, slutty wife is awesome. And it's funny because she played Louise Tate in Bewitched, after the first Louise Tate left.

Saw that a while back. Nice little movie to rent if you like that sort of thing. I enjoyed it. Redford and Freeman made the movie. I forget who played JLo's love interest, but I liked him too.
It's a good kid's movie IMO.

Hostel II- I know it bombed but it's actually pretty good. I like Bijou Phillips. She's hot. Pretty gory: if you don't like that stuff be warned. I think they call it torture porn.

Mr. Brooks - I usually hate anything Kevin Costner is in, but this one isn't bad. A few plot holes, but overall an original idea.
U Turn - Another one of those fucked up movies. Not sure if i love it or hate it. Sean Penn is great, as usual.
Wild Hogs - pretty much a big steaming pile of crap with a fun performance by William H. Macy. It's harmless though.
Reign Over Me - I was expecting more from this. It was just OK for me.
Evening - alot of hype with all these big name actresses, but not alot of payoff. Not much to the story.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Matthew Broderick sure was cute back then.
