You me and dupree- oh my god i cant take Owen Wilson seriously anymore. He is so happy go lucky, full of optimism in this movie and all i could about was his wrist slashing episode and depression.

I just watched Syriana two nights ago. Very good film, and I love watching Alexander Siddig in anything. He has this ability to make himself sympathetic and terrifying at the same time (as well as yummy), without coming across affected or over the top.

^Tati, was the torture scene too much? I don't like watching that kind of thing, but I would like to see the movie. I guess I can skip through that part when it comes up.

It was hard to watch my George get hurt, but its really rather tame compared to a lot of stuff in the movies these days.

Oh that's good. I heard to wait and rent it in case it's too much and I have to leave the theater during that part (I know, lame)

We just watched Je t'aime...moi non plus, a film by Serge Gainsbourg with Jane Birkin and Joe Dellesandro. Interesting.

The Sixth Sense (1999) I thought it was really good. I might add it to my DVD collection.

I watched that too, finally, a couple weeks ago. I loved it. Better than I thought it would be. Loved the twist. I might buy it too, and I almost never buy DVD's.

I;m like you, I cant stand torture scenes. People always say to me 'But its fake, who cares' but I dont like having that picture in my head, and it doesn't matter if its acting or not.
