I just watched Sonny with James Franco. An interesting little indie movie, now I see why all his fangirls are squealing. He's hot.

Billy Madison- finally!
Didn't think it was that great. Adam Sandler is a natural though.

I watched The Queen on Saturday night. Loved the guy who played Prince Philip. He was a hoot.

Rob Zombie's Halloween Between above average*** and good****

Overall I thought it was good. The part when MM was a kid was the best part. After that I didn't like it as much. The original is so much better and more effective as a horror movie. Rob Zombie's version isn't scary, there's just alot of violence. BTW this film is not for kids. When I saw it there were a bunch of families in the theater By the end of the film only 2 kids were left. All the families were gone. I don't know what they were thinking bringing kids to this movie.

I've seen a few lately. The Zodiac, which was overly long, but showed the reality of newspaper and police work and was very well acted. Mrs. Potter -- even though I can't abide Renee Z she was perfect in this role about Beatrix Potter. It's quite a charming little film. House of Sand and Fog, which is a few years old, but still very good. I didn't quite buy the ultra-gorgeous Jennifer Conolley as a homeless woman, but the script, cinematography and acting were phenomenal.

^ Yes, I didn't care for it. I guess it's worth watching once but it's not that good.
All I could think of the whole time was, "Oh, that part could make dumb crook news!" The thing is, I kept thinking it all through the movie. haha

I just can't see Luke Wilson as a tough guy, which he tries to be, and as for Kate, no, she didn't act nearly as freaked out as I would have in that situation. The bad guys were LITTLE guys that would not have really freaked me out too. When I think bad guys, I think tough, burly killers. lol.

During the whole movie I kept thinking to myself my reaction would be something along the lines of "you'd better hope you have a few more of you, cause you three or four ain't gonna be able to pull this off all by yourselves."

We saw I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry this weekend. Good God, there's two hours of my life I won't be getting back. I should have gone with my gut and stayed home. Movie sucked ass. I wanted to leave and not too coincidentally, I think the only other movie I've ever walked out on was another Adam Sandler movie. Apparently I'm a slow learner.
