I can't believe you spent money on El Cantante. **shakes head in confusion**

persepolis. and it's absolutely wonderful, funny and heartbreaking at the same time. i read the graphic novels but i went with a friend who'd never head of them and she loved it too.
the actors do an amazing job with the voices, especially chiara mastroianni and danielle darrieux. i heard the english version will have iggy pop and sean penn and gena rowlands doing voices.

On A Clear Day
I love this film. I bought it off Amazon. Saw it on HBO once, and watched the entire thing. it's a little indie from the UK with an amazing cast, to say the least.
i wish everyone could see it, and feel the same way as i do.

I just watched The Lake House.
Is it wrong that I am in love with Keanu Reeves? He's so beautiful and so....I don't know. I didn't like him before, years ago, when everyone was making a huge deal over him. But I saw him in Something's Gotta Give and this movie, and he is just so sweet. Not a great actor, but pleasant, genial, and he seems so kind. I want one. *sigh*

The Ex with Amanda Peet, Jason Bateman and Zach Braff. It was OK.
Also, SuperBad. Pretty funny.

The Simpsons Movie. I needed a good distraction/laugh, and it certainly delivered!
