I cant wait to see that, looks good.
I watched City Of Ghosts last night which was written and directed by Matt Dillon. As usual a man can't make a movie without loads of violence. It was good but i didn't enjoy it because of the gore. I hate having to put my hands over my face- i'm such a wuss. That what makes it not enjoyable. I can take some violence, but i cannot watch torture.
Then i watched True Crime with Alicia Silverstone, her character is frumpy and unglamorous (and she still manages to look gorgeous) and Kevin Dillon gives me the absolute creeps. It was really good though.

^I went to see that movie with a friend aabbcc, and we spent 2 hrs trying to dissect it afterward. It's the kind of movie that leaves you to your own devices - or forces you back on them. It could have been much better told. But on the other hand, it forces you to think about everything that led up to the ending. Or non-ending if you will. I think it's also one of those movies that lets you decide how it ends.

OMG, I want to see it because Shaun is one of my absolute favorite movies, but the Fuzz commercials make it look so bad.

That Dixie Chicks documentary-Shut Up And Sing. It was quite good, kept me interested throughout, plus their lead singer cracked me up.

I watched The Last King of Scotland. It was good, but a bit overrated in my opinion.

I thought the same thing but happened to read the premise of the movie in Entertainment Weekly. It sounded good so we went Saturday. LMFAO!! It was hysterical. Give it a shot.

Lovers of the Arctic Circle. A love story. Sad, beautiful, unusual. From Spain
Needing to escape out of my head last weekend, I watched Cary Grant in My Favorite Wife. He was never more perfect.
After that I watched "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" (with the brilliant Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend). You know, Marilyn was even more incredible than I had remembered. I watched as if it were new, really paying attention to her, not thinking about all the cliche's that we've been oversaturated with. She was extraordinary. Playful, calculating, honest, stunning and really funny.

I almost did that last night Chalet, desperately needed to. Opted to hang out in the bookstore with some 20-somethings.
Thanks for the description about MM, I think I'll try that (never seen any of her old movies, though I've wanted to)
