Yup - Keaton, Tomei, Duvall, Glenn Close, Randy Quaid - we grabbed it off the shelf and man what a find!

It was such a beautiful, moving movie.
i've been meaning to see this but i kind of want to read the book first. it's good to know the movie is worth it, maybe it will speed up my reading, lately i've been so lazy.

The Reaping ... not a completely horrible way to kill a couple of hours.

My daughter went to the movies as an early birthday present. She and a friend saw What Happened in Vegas and thought it was pretty funny.

National Treasure 2. It was okay, I think I liked the first one better.

Same here, this one wasn't as "exciting". I got lost in all of the "facts".

Helen Mirren was so sexy though! I wish she was in more of the movie, it would have taken my mind off of NC's bad hair and new teeth.

Forgettable.
I watched this last night. I thought the music was great ... my favourite part of the movie. Didn't like the ending though. I was kind of hoping Jackson and Ricci would get together. He seemed much better for her than that pussy, Ronnie. Fuck, he was irritating. I wanted to reach into the tv and smash him in the face.

So I watched Girl, Interrupted again last night. And I'm more convinced than ever that there was no acting involved on Angelina Jolie's part.

The part where she loses her shit and screams, "There's SO many buttons, just begging to be pushed!!! But why won't anyone push mine???" gave me chills.

I think she was so good at that part because she was just playing a version of herself.

^Yeah, she just played herself!

I watched The Brady Bunch Movie, I hadn't watched it in ages, and it's soooo funny! It was so well done.

The Invisible

terribly boring. the cops business card stated he was in Burnaby, and THAT was the most interesting part of the movie, the fact that it named a place I know. Yawn.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall- Honestly, I thought it was pretty overrated. There were a few parts that were good, but I also spent a lot of time bored out of my mind wondering how much longer it was going to be.

I also don't like these movies where beautiful, successful girls are falling all over themselves for guys who are total losers. I think these Judd Apatow movies are why so many guys now pursue girls who are way out of their league and refuse to take the hint when she's not interested, believing that eventually she'll be won over by their "charm".

Can anyone tell me ... was there an alternate ending for 1408? I watched this movie for the second time last night and the ending was completely different from what I remembered. Of course, it's entirely possible I was thinking of a different movie. I get confused easily.

Edit: Went over to IMDB and discovered that there are two endings to this movie. Apparently, the one you see when the movie airs on tv is the newer ending. I think they are phasing out the one I saw originally on dvd. I have to say, I prefer the original ending over the newer one. Pity.
