27 Dresses, at the cinema => I enjoyed it despite my dislike of Katherine Heigl as a person (seriously what's with the Heigl craze?). Conventional in every way, sure, but competently made. An overall good rom-com. And here's hoping gorgeous Malin Akerman will start getting lead roles soon.

I saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall last nite! it was funny; i was laughing out loud and yelling at the screen and shit and saw a white dick a bunch of times for the first time in years! i like it though although it did have some slow parts and i was kinda waiting for it to rap up a few times; it was pretty cool. got me up and the theater cooled us off when we were feeling hot and down...

Saw an advance screening of Iron Man last night.
It was phenomenal. Robert Downey Jr. is terrific, Gwyneth amuses, Jeff Bridges is awesome and Terrence Howard is yummy in every way possible. That man is beautiful......sigh. Can't wait to see him in the sequel as War Machine.

Over Her Dead body- I didn't know to get it or not. I was torn between my hate for Eva Longwhoria or my love for Paul Rudd. My love won and it was a very meh movie. I think I laughed a couple times at Paul and thats it. Nothing special, but not as bad as I thought it would be.

I'm watching Dreamgirls right now and I'm surprised at how Beonstage doesn't suck. It probably helps that she's basically playing herself, but she's actually quite lovely even though it's not a very demanding part. Jennifer Hudson is blowing my socks off. I suspect she is also basically playing herself though.

I can appreciate its horribleness.

I saw The Reaping this weekend. Good flick. Scary how much my ex BFF looks like Hillary Swank.

Cloverfield. It was godawful...I had to turn it off. The Mr. and I were getting vertigo.

I finally watched Juno, it was really good, as I expected.
I also saw Pulse. It wasn't very good as far as Wes Craven films go, but it was seriously creepy. Creepy enough to make me a little spooked about getting online anyway.

Made of Honor.
It was a cute, breezy chick flick with some funny parts, but the character development left a lot to be desired. I never fully understood WHY Tom and Hannah were such good friends. This movie could have benefitted from a little bit more background information, either in the form of additional scenes or a flashback montage or something.
Also, Dempsey's character was too unlikable at the beginning of the film. They build him up as this jerk and then expect us to root for him when he decides he wants Hannah.
Overall, I did enjoy the movie though.
