Aw come on! Wow, we really do not agree when it comes to movies...

10000 BC, at the cinema => In a way it was somewhat disappointing because I really like Roland Emmerich and in a way it wasn't because I'd read many a bad review. It isn't really bad, but Emmerich has done many a better movie, this one is average, good but with nothing really standing out, except for Camilla Belle, who really wears her name well, lol. I think maybe this style of narration wasn't the best for Emmerich. Still, it's decent enough if you're looking for a fast-moving special effects filled action blockbuster, just don't expect anything special from it. That being said it's the best "special effects filled action blockbuster" of the year so far, what with Colverfield being shit and Jumper being so disappointing (why Rachel Bilson, why?).

i think one can say with a fair amount of objectivity and universality that lady in the water sucks major ass. it's not a question of diverging opinions, it is simply a lousy movie.

Lady in the Water was awful. Really really awful, and everyone I know has the same opinion on it.

I didn't watch the whole movie, but this clip on Youtube of Hayley Mills singing "Let's Get Together" from the original Parent Trap.
It's been like ten years since I've seen the whole movie. I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not they ever explained in the movie why both twins have British accents but their parents are American.

The Devil Wears Prada.
Anne is so butterfaced, and they changed most of the book.
Lame, didn't like it. I knew I shouldn't watch this shit, but it was in tv, so...

'No Country For Old Men'
It just keeps getting better. Bardim plays one of the best villains I've ever seen on film, and Josh Brolin does an amazing job as well.
It's one of those films where each actor just seemed to feed off the other's performances, making them all better as a whole.
Great movie.

I love the movie until the very end. I hate admitting this, but I wish she had stayed.
As for Lady In The Water, I went into the movie with pretty low expectations. I expected a sort of offbeat fairytale for adults, so I wasn't really disappointed.
