This Is Spinal Tap.
The "Stonehenge" scene is such a classic, has me on the floor to this day:
David St. Hubbins: I do not, for one, think that the problem was that the band was down. I think that the problem *may* have been, that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being *crushed* by a *dwarf*. Alright? That tended to understate the hugeness of the object.

That was a good movie. I caught it a few weeks back on HBO when I was channel surfing. Judi Dench was evil as hell. Some of her facial expressions had me on the floor crying.

^^I really enjoyed this movie as well. Dame Judi was excellent and Cate Blanchett can do no wrong in my book. She is fabulous in every way.

Love Love Love Spinal Tap!!!
I grew up in the music biz, my Dad had a record label. Spinal Tap is dead on when it comes to soo many of the scenes..
SO many great lines:
"I wouldn't worry about it though, Boston's not a big college town"
"If I told them once I told them a thousand times, Spinal Tap first, Puppet Show second"

I watched Why Did I Get Married - I've avoided it because it had Janet Jackson in it... but I actually liked it. Even the crazy chick Angie had me laughing... when Trina says "See, Angela you belong in a kitchen" and Angie says "And you belong on a corner, need a pimp?"

I watched Vacancy and The Descent with my daughter last night. I've seen both movies before. I really love The Descent. I can watch it over and over!
Question for anyone who has seen Vacancy ... when they first arrive in the motel room, Luke Wilson sits on the end of the bed and takes his shoes off. Almost immediately thereafter, they are running all over the place trying to stay alive, and he's wearing his shoes. When did he put them back on?

Things We Lost in the Fire. Gawd what a snore. I stuck with it because I love Benecio. Now as a rule I will never watch anything with Halle Berry in it. She's just not a good actress. It was a lame plot too.

Why Did I Get Married was a good movie all around. Good story, drama, comedy. The crazy chick Angela was my favorite. My favorite part was when they were all in the store talking and the woman walked up and told them 'uh, we don't keep money in the story,' and Angela flipped out. I keep meaning to pick that DVD up.

Tyler Perry's movies are always good. They make you laugh and think at the same time, which isn't easy. The only one I haven't seen yet is Daddy's Little Girls, but the soundtrack is great, though.

I hate the way he always has to put "Tyler Perry" in front of his movies. It turns me off.
