Well I am not banned yet *baffled*.

But instead of trolling(really trolling) if you want to be 'trollish'..

join and then go to the 'TOP CHEF' forum, go under cheftestants, go to the 'Evangelos 'Spike' Mendelsohn' thread, and post like a fantard. There are some bitches (with sticks up their asses) who HATE him(and are part of a 'posse' of longtimers) and it would piss them off. Especially if it was not too over the top..but just perisistent. And they would be COMPELLED to respond and bash him.

It would be fun to watch.

Well it was pointed out to me that even commenting on 'the viewers'(as in the people who watch the show, not board members) is even considered 'boards on boards' and that is why I got the warning. I do not see how the reaction of viewers of a television episode is NOT related to the show episode itself, especially when it is directed at all general viewers of the show, but whatever. It is board on boards and the warning is valid they say. I really honestly did not think that would have been boards on boards.

At least they did answer my question and I will give them credit for that.

I think the thing that bugs me the most about the modding their(and I understand how difficult modding can be and all)...is that the mods seem to really dislike the board members, or at least the ones who are not their pets and who may make a mistake. But damn you can moderate and not 'hate' while doing it. I have only gotten two other warnings there before (along time ago and they expired)..but even those warning were really just nasty as hell. You can tell someone what they did wrong without coming across like a mean asshole. In fact the warning messages themselves would have been gross violations of a number of board rules if the were posted messages themselves.

Plus I still see tons of grammatical and spelling errors..tons of them. Some from the same long time posters, over and over bad grammar, punctuation, misspelled words, etc., along with other violations like boards on boards stuff and personal remarks. How are these people skating by with this shit?

If there was consistency then there is no way those people would not have earned a ban yet.

I gave up on TWoP after Bravo. While they've always been heavy handed with the moderating, things got worse after Bravo. The mods are paid now and expected to put in 20 hours a week working on the site. The result is the over-modding that has resulted in unnecessary warnings, bannings and mod bullshit.

Try Bitter, But Brilliant. It's mostly TWoP refugees.

And there's also TWoP_Crit at Journalfen for H8ters.

Whoa I never though the Bravo channel ownwed TWOP. I knew that a new company took over but not a network! that could explain why the MMAS and PR forums are more heavy moderated than others cuz I used to see mods patrol on those boards alot. And theyget paid to moderate, man that is so pathetic that they get paid and they still don't discuss the shows to get along with the members.

Unfortunately most (nearly all) of the shows I comment on there are Bravo shows.

And the moderation is extreme on those forums. I should check out some of the non Bravo shows(like ANTM) to see how the moderation differs. Maybe when the next cycle of ANTM starts up. (with no Saleishit-a appearances (ho)pefully.)

Well here we go again. So there is a rank the cheftestants thread in Top Chef. And there are a number of posts where it is just a ranking with no explanation. Well there is one post in there that says you cannot just rank them-you have to say WHY you are ranking them as you are. I missed the single post, and given that it is a RANKING thread, and that there were other posts in the thread just ranking them, I went ahead and ranked them.(yeah I admit I did MISS the single post about not just ranking, but given there were other ranking posts, and that it was a RANK them thread, I went ahead and did it.)

Well, not only did I get a talking to, but my post was deleted, so I had to post again, with the explanations this time. Now the post ahead of mine, and after mine, are EXACTLY like mine was..just rankings. Are THEY going to be DELETED? What about the previous posts in the thread that were just rankings..WHY WERE THEY NOT DELETED LIKE MY ENTIRE POST WAS?

This just says alot about the fuckery of the mods there. They DO single people out, while letting other get a pass for THE EXACT SAME THING. ridiculous.

the modding there SUCKS!~

Twop Nikita is one of the absolute worst too IMO. (just added this last bit so whomever is feeding them this crap thread can send that to them as well).
