I'm with Kitty, I'm on my re-read also.

I don't know who bought the book on Amazon but I preordered it and ended up paying around 9 dollars for it (a hard back )

I got mine on Tuesday (preorder), but am finishing reading something else right now. I also wish that they hadn't canceled the Kindle release, I've gotten so used to just having that slim device in my purse instead of the big book.

TRUE BLOOD: Based on the popular Sookie Stackhouse books by Charlaine Harris, this hit drama series was created by Alan Ball, creator of HBO’s Emmy®-winning series “Six Feet Under.” The show tells the ongoing tale of Sookie (Golden Globe winner Anna Paquin), a waitress with telepathic gifts – and an irresistible attraction to 173-year old vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) who went missing at the end of season two.
With the assistance (and often hindrance) of locals – including her newly inspired brother Jason (Ryan Kwanten), shape-shifting boss Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell), in-mourning pal Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley), Tara’s vamp-linked cousin Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis),
on-the-wagon detective Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer), vampire sheriff Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgård) and teen vamp Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) – Sookie desperately tries to locate her fiancé as season three opens, ending up in a netherworld of human and undead interlopers, among them the Vampire King of Mississippi, Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare) and his followers, a pack of vicious werewolves who feed on vampire blood.
    Episode #25: “Bad Blood”:
Sookie turns to Eric for help finding Bill; Andy urges Jason to stay the course; Sam reconnects with his past; Tara seeks refuge from her grief. (Written by Brian Buckner; directed by Daniel Minahan.)
    Playdates: 13, 15, 16, 19 and 30
    Episode #26: “Beautifully Broken”:
Russell Edgington, the Vampire King of Mississippi, concocts a plan to consolidate his power. Eric remembers his past; Sam tests the strength of his family bonds; Tara finds an ally in a shady vampire named Franklin Mott. (Written by Raelle Tucker; directed by Scott Winant.)
    Playdates: 20, 22, 23, 26 and 30
Episode #27: “It Hurts Me Too”:
In search of Bill, Sookie heads to Jackson, Mississippi in the company of Alcide, a werewolf bodyguard assigned by Eric to protect her. Jason is distracted from his police exams; Bud reaches the end of his rope; Arlene copes with unexpected news; Franklin charms Tara, and gets Jessica out of a jam; Eric bequeaths a gift to Lafayette. Haunted by visions from his past, Bill makes a surprising pledge of allegiance. (Written by Alexander Woo; directed by Michael Lehmann.)

I'd like to mount Skarsgard my darn self.

Why does this Alan Ball guy change thing so much? Why can't he stick to the books. It gets darn confusing at times.

Will Sookie ever have a relationship with Eric?

it's not my favorite book because of the ending but it is worth the read for the sex scenes a lone. I'm not a lover of the fae in her series but still for me her vampire series is the best.

I am a venter, I vent all the time but you have to know I like the books or else I wouldn't read them. However I am close to "really venting" if she has another ending like this one. Most of her books have good endings.

I didn't really see the books moving on until Kitty and I started talking about it and now I'm spending way to much time thinking about Bill Compton being a traitor (thanks Kitty) and whats going to happen with Victor. Worse now I can't wait for the next book to come out and I waited FOREVER for this one. rats.
