I watched every episode on Halloween night , I am HOOKED!!!
Lafayette and Tara are my favorite characters. I hate that tree huggin bitch, there's just something not right about her.
When Sookie's grandma died and Sookie was in the kitchen eating the left over pie, I cried like a baby. I just lost my grandma, too so that episode was crazy emotional for me.
Can't wait for tonight!!!

Oh and the middle aged gay vampire in lust with Lafayette, I thought he looked like the guy who played Milton in Office Space. Forget his name...
*imdb says the actor I'm thinkin of is Stephen Root. I'm confused whether it's him though: there's an article linked to imdb that says he will play a vampire victim in an upcoming episode?

Yes, that was Stephen Root, Beeyotch. Given his main titles credit I'm guessing he won't die straight away, might escape and get revenge on LaFayette, since Jason said he was friends with him. Shame, there was something very sweet about that gay vampire.
Getting freaked out by Lizzy Bor-- Oops, I mean Caplan. Fifty whacks with a silver necklace, Bart!

I have a question about that scene with Stephen Root: Why was his skin sizzling when tree-hugging bitch and Jason threw that chain mail thing over his head?

It was really bugging me for about 20 minutes or so, trying to remember where I'd seen this chick. She was in Mean Girls. They really bulked her up in that movie, because apparently she's actually very small.
Beeyotch, it was because it was silver, I think. Vampires can't take silver.

Ohhh, ok. Silver + vampires= burning. Got it. I need to brush up on my vampire rules according to this show. I knew about the silver bullet kills vampires thing, so I guess it's a derivative of that.

Good episode tonight. The tree-hugging girl is a pyscho. Sam and Tara together seems to make more sense with each episode.
Sookie waking up and finding Sam there had me rolling. And Tara's mother is still my favorite comedy relief.

This was an EXCELLENT episode. I'm surprised that Stephen Root is getting main credits, his character is not in the books, but then, they are deviating quite far from the books. But that makes me happy because I don't want to expect everything on this show. I'm sad there are only three more episodes this season.

The transference going on between Jason & his captured vampire is really interesting.

Thank you! That was driving me insane. I knew she looked familiar, but I couldn't place her. I can't believe how different she looks from her Mean Girls character.

Yeah I ended up feeling very sorry for him. He doesn't seem to make the most out of being a vampire. Kind of a misfit among misfits.
I bought book one and two. Half-way through one. I'm amazed at how true the show stays to the book. I mean almost exactly. Anna is so right on as Sookie. i think I'm liking the Bill of the book better though. He comes off as more dangerous and mysterious. He's less vampire on the show, if that's understandable.

^^ Up to where you are, completely agree. Anna is great. In fact everyone but Ryan Kwanten are ace for their roles.
Miss Tara though.

Last night's episode was so good. I'm kinda shocked that Lafayette is getting so thuggish, he seems too sweet for that. I'm glad Tara's deal went the way it did, I don't think I could have tolerated Tara being all sickly sweet. Didn't she look like a freakin' linebacker in that dress? I'm pretty sure it was photoshopped but Sam's ass was NICE.
And was Eric incredibly hot last night? Whoo!
