I am in agony trying to decide if I want to get the books. I usually get pissed off when shows/movies don't follow books I love closely enough. Also, I'm not sure I want the show spoiled for me. I kind of like not having any idea what is coming next.

Maybe I'll get the first book since the show has already dealt with it, and get the second book after the second season is over, and so forth.

In the promo, I think Lafayette was talking to Tara when he said "girl, is you even in there?" Whatever Maryann is doing to these people is carrying over into their lives outside the bacchanalia's.
