I think Marianne is a Maenad. From Wiki:

True Blood is still on a roll. Another good episode. I'm starting to think that the preacher & his wife might be looking to get Jason into a threeway. Because no normal husband would watch his wife throw herself at another man right in front of him and not say anything. Either that, or he's impotent and needs Jason to make his wife start speaking in tongues.

EDIT: The funniest line of the night was from Jason during that Bible/vampire conversation. 'Evil is making the preMEDICATED choice to be an asshole.'

And Jessica screaming at Bill 'I'm on the phone!!!' & MaryAnne just tossing away the birthday gift for Tara were both funny too.

Fantastic epi tonight. Lafayette tweaking over Eric's blood, Eggs fucking, Jessica ordering a hot boy from room service were all great. I am so over Jason's story arc. Can we get it done with, please, and get back to Jason being a slut?

Tonight's episode was alright, I was hoping for more on Daphne and her back scratches.

I'm still wondering why MaryAnne wants Eggs with Tara. And did MaryAnne pull something out of the dirt when Eggs and Tara were banging? She was doing some kind of spell, I think.

Ok, Eggs and Tara having sex REALLY bothered me last night lol!

That dude is NOT good for her and Mary Ann manipulated it as well, of course. Which makes it even creepier. As soon as Tara decided to move back with Sookie and Sookie had to leave for Texas I knew Mary Ann would find her and manipulate the situation with Eggs even more. Grrrr! Jason also needs to wake up. I personally think that the preacher and his wife are going to trap and maybe hurt Jason at some point because they know that Sookie is his sister. I am loooving how the show is building up. Jessica is getting better and better and I am sure I am not the only one that loved the scene with Eric and Layfette, LMAO!

Last nights episode was fantastic! Every single scene had me either laughing or on the edge of my seat. Even the scene where Sookay realized she had found a fellow telepath had me in stiches when the poor little dude took off running! hee!

I loved how the Dallas hotel catered to vamps. It was pretty cool to see the group in an environment where ordering a "straight male, B +" was perfectly normal, and the rooms accomodated coffins.

Who thinks Maryann ordered Sookie to be abducted? I think maybe she's either involved with the occultic Fellowship of the Sun, or she used their name as a cover when she hired the goon. I think Maryann is the only one who could have known, from Tara, that Sookie was on her way to Dallas and why. Or maybe the Fellowship roped in Jason because they want to get at Sookie.

It was hilarious when Bill glamoured the goon, and when Jessica made him shout insults about some teenage rival of hers.

I wonder what longterm effects Maryanns spell will have on the townspeople? What is her ultimate goal where they are concerned? I wonder if she was digging a hole for Sookie's heart? Apparently she is the Bull Human who cut out Miss Jeanette's heart.

good episode last night. i didn't hate Tara in this one. although, for someone who is supposedly intelligent, she sure makes some dumbass decisions. and quite slutty. what's it been - a week since she stopped banging Sam? - and now, she's already in bed with some weirdo she met down at the shelter? shittiest judgment ever.

Oh & I'm finishing up the first book & Bubba/Elvis is a vampire??? Dammit people, I don't read vampire books for the imaginiation/fantasy factor! Gimme some reality!

Yeah that was great. I think the preacher's wife is so enamoured of him solely because she wants to screw him. The plot does get better with the FotS when they become hard-core vigalantes. Also the kidnapped vamp will be very interesting, if it's anything like the book.

Mel at first I thought the Elvis guy was pretty hokey, but it gets better. He grew on me.

I just bought books 1-7 on Amazon!!! I cannot wait to start reading them

Forget who but someone said they also had a deal with the DVD. That was SOOOO tempting!! I am waiting until next pay check for that now lol!

That was good. I loved seeing Lloyd stand up to Ari.

I'm so curious to find out what Marianne wants with Tara, what her angle is. IIRC, she wasn't around for that long in the book.
