This.

My favourite character is Lafayette, even though he's a walking stereotype himself. He still gets the best lines, and the actor manages to give enough layers to the character to make him sympathetic.

I wouldn't mind if Jason went to the big trailerpark in the sky though. He's amusing at times, but my annoyance usually overshadows the mocking.

Yeah, I'm finding the "Jason finds Jesus" story arc a little annoying.

I wish he would just get on with it and have a threesome with the pastor and the pastor's wife. That's where the storyline is heading anyway, and the sooner it's over, the better.

Yeah the fundie nut storyline is about to get extremely boring if they don't mix it up quite a bit very soon.

It looks like Jason is gonna bang the preacher's wife next week, that should settle it up pretty quickly.

Wow, I didn't catch that in the preview? All I saw was someone apparently pretending to be a vamp attacking Jason in the dormitory at the leadership conference. Also, Mr. Preacherman fondling his gun and enticing Jason into the car with him. Anyway, I'm crossing my fingers too.

Well, I'm assuming that why the preacher had his gun out.

Hey, you guys didn't answer my old post about if I should watch the show! It doesn't matter now because I watched every single episode in the past 3 days so I am caught up now.

I like the show, but it can be totally cheesy some times. I really can't stand Sookie and Bill, I find myself rolling my eyes in 90% of their scenes, especially their terrible love scenes.

Sookie is moody, whining, bitchy and won't shut the fuck up with the 'I can take care of myself, thank you!" and "I don't know if I can be with Bill" and then turning around and having bloody sex with him and getting all giddy over him. And Bill is annoying with his gloomy looks and moopy attitude, he lacks personality and doesn't add much to the show. Ugh.

I love almost every thing else about the show. Not so keen on Tara, but I am liking her now that she's toned it down. Layfette is awesome and so is Hoyt, Terry and Sam. I wish Sam would finally cut a break and get a nice girl, he's too good for soooookkaaayy, she's a pain in the ass anyway. I'm really starting to love Pam and Eric too, I hope we see a lot more of them. Sookie should get with Eric to spice shit up, he has more personality as a vampire than Bill.

I am embarrassed to even admit this, but I actually ordered a Merlotte's tshirt and another shirt with the True Blood lips that says "Thou shalt not crave thy neighbor" off cafepress last week. Got them today and they're actually cute but I almost feel like no one will know what they're from when I wear them.

^ Dork. Nah, I am sure they are cute.

I don't get the "Thou shalt not crave thy neighbor"..... did I miss something? Or does it mean vampires shouldn't want to eat their neighbors?

It's on some of the marketing from the first season. Here's one of the posters they released.

LOL, you guys are hilarious. I wish I was devoted to a show like some other people are. Doesn't Tonja have True Blood movie nights at her house? That's cool, I bet it's fun.

I have never been involved with a show/band/celeb/movie/etc like that. With shows, sometimes I'll watch a season or two (years later and always on DVD) and then stop because I'm just over it. It's too much commitment for me because I'm so busy and tv isn't a priority.

I totally suck, I have no passion this kind of stuff, I can take it or leave it. One of my good friends was in love with the band 311, she met them, went to all their tours, joined 311 groups and made great friends. Borderline obsessed with them, but not unhealthy obsessed, but I always wished I was passionate about something like that. I just don't give a shit though.

It's not even that I'm obsessive about it, because I'm really not. I mean, it's a great show that I've enjoyed since I started watching- which wasn't more than 3 weeks ago anyway, but I'm not obsessed, must find everything I possibly can for the show. It spawned from a "hmm...I need new shirts" moment and playing around on cafepress, and I eventually ended up in the True Blood section, and I liked that they are related to the show without having gigantic TRUE BLOOD all over the place on them.
