I currently have Funniest Home Videos paused (ours is so much funnier than America's)... I'll watch the rest of it when I feel like it... hurruh! Sorta kinda awesome.

We love our TiVo. When we were on vacation, mr. tulip forgot to set it, and he did it from his laptop while we were away. Very cool!

The only crappy thing was that I wanted to see the premiere of 90210, but the damn baseball game ran REALLY long and I only got 1/2 hour of it. Unlike a VCR, you can't set it for extra time if a sporting event is on before it.

without ti-vo I would miss Craig Fergusen (comes on to late at night) Also we record his show/my show and both are happy. I watch the show after it's over to skim though the commercials.

It was great during the Olympics!!

We've had it for years. Our service is DirectTV for the NFL sports package.

    I have DVR.
Love it. Amazing. It's wonderful, as Katie Holmes would say.

I have it programmed to record all my Monk shows. Haha.

The DVR is great, I also like being able to pause the program with DirectTV.

Sometimes I'll pause a show I'm watching in real time and do things around the house and come back and fast forward through commercials.

Oh my Gosh I did that with 90210 the other night, I paused it during the ads and went and potted round for about 10 minutes, came back, started it again, then the next ads I just skipped. It was tops.
