I'm a little alarmed because I now have no recollection at all of ever watching this movie. Either I"m getting senile, or it was so awful that I repressed it.

the only exciting part was the opening theme music.

    Kevin Spacey also did well.

However, that lameass who played lois was a total waste. It was like watching a little girl try to play grownup.

Routh i can sympathize with.. he had Reeve's booties to fill, and I think he did an admirable job that was basically impossible.

True, but he was actually the third after Christopher Reeve (in television, Dean Cain in 1993 and Tom Welling in 2001 proceeds) although you can argue that technically, they both were only playing Clark Kent*

*yes I know Cain wore the suit, but he's only Superman in each episode for like, 2 minutes. I'd say the pressure was on Cain the most since he was the very first since the last movie was in 1987.

    everyone is on Smallville...lol.

Agreed. Kate Bosworth was a damn joke as Lois Lane.

Routh did do a pretty good job, considering that Christopher Reeve had set the standard for Superman. But I will say that visually the movie was the BEST Superman movie. The story was okay, but they need to fine-tune it for the next movie.

Spacey & Parker Posey were pretty good, too.

Pissed that you fell asleep, or pissed because the movie was bad?

I still can't remember trying to watch this thing.

I liked King Kong ok, except the chick kept looking at Kong just a little too amorously

King Kong was another over-stuffed piece of crap.

Although the two most memorable moments for me were:

    1) Kong grabbing people and tossing them away.

    2) Jack Black looking like an idiot at the end of the movie saying 'It was beauty that killed the beast.' I couldn't stop laughing.

X-2 was the best out of all three movies. X-3 would've been better if they didn't stuff so many characters into it, and fuck up the Pheonix storyline. They should've waited until Singer finished Superman and then let him do X-3.

But, then again, all of the movies should've been called 'Wolverine & the X-men,' especially X-3.
