There were several showings that were 'Sold Out', where I went...but those were 'popular' times.

Again this movie was awesome, I really did enjoy it. I am going to see it again.

I went on Friday, me and the husband picked up tickets at 11 AM for the 8:30 show, at that time almost everything was sold out - all of the IMAX shows were sold out and at that time four of the evening shows were already sold out. When we got there we had to wait in huge lines.

I absolutely LOVED the movie, I thought it was brilliant. I was prepared to be disappointed because I had such high expectations, but it was absolutely amazing. Still talking about it even today. Will probably even see it again in the theatre when its not sold out in IMAX.

The Joker was phenomenal, Heath Ledger was amazing in that role - everything hit the right note. Just great all around, no complaints.

It was really good. I had one problem with it, which was Maggie Gyllenhaal's appearance. Not only is the poor dear not aging, well, but her hair was a MESS.

Anyway, personal qualm aside, it was fantastic. I have to say, though, that I expected more surprises. I guess if you've read a bunch of batman comics, you kind of know the history well enough to put two and two together.

And I agree, you're supposed to laugh, albeit uncomfortably, at the Joker. Its like the scene in Pulp Fiction where they accidentally blow the guy's head off. They want you to laugh and then think, "Oh my God, I'm laughing at that..." It makes you feel like the Joker, a character in a movie, is fucking with your head

I think MG is very pretty and I think she'll make an attractive middle aged woman.

^^^Well everyone has an opinion of course, but my hubby came out of the movie saying, "Geez, who did they get to play Rachel? That chick is fucking UGLY" lol. He can be less tactful than I (And has no idea who most Starlets are

I reallllly liked this movie and didn't think it would be able to top the greatness of the first Christian Bale as Batman.
So much to love and I'm so glad Katie Holmes was NOT cast in this one. It would have been all wrong (and boring).
Christian Bale is the bomb and I love Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, just all of them. Just a great cast.
Heath Ledger was fantastic in this movie. He played the Joker so well and it's sad he is gone.

Awesome movie!!! Heath Ledger was so amazing. I managed to hold my tears in because he is so the character that you forget until it got close to the end and it hit me yet again I won't be able to see him do this again!
