hehe...i love reading everyones posts...if i miss a show or two..all i have to do is come on here and read some posts, and i know whats going on. There was a re run on the other night, the one where Jo has a girls night, but brings Shane?!!?! Who calls their boyfriend to tell them that your drunk and another guy (that your boyfriend already doesnt like) is taking you home?! And i would really like to know the true story behind Slade and Lauri hooking up. Ill have to do some catching up this weekend

Yeah, I don't get that relationship. Slade is obviously a tool but he could do better than ugly Jo. And man, is she ugly. He probably needs to date someone his own age.

Oooh - I finally got to watch this show. I taped the whole marathon they had running and man, am I sorry I haven't watched this before. It's great!

Loved that crap-hole apartment that Jo got. And her insistence that she is a big girl and doesn't need Slade to go into "Daddy mode", while in the next breath wondering how she was going to pay for her new apartment. Cause you know, having bills you can't pay for is very adult indeed. And what's with her hitting on Jeanna's son? I'd be like, bitch - get off my kid's jock.

I already can't stand this chick. The "I deserve the best and I'm worth it" attitude gets you real far till about....oh, 29. Then you have to hook up with old, ugly losers to get what you "deserve". Right Laurie? (And I don't begrudge her that Benz; I wouldn't fuck that guy for less than a million. Then again, if I were a guy, I would say the same thing about her, so they're kind of made for each other.)

Yes this is season two. The first God-awful season was last year. That was when the whole miserable group including Laurie(Whorie),Jo(HoJo), Vicky(Icky), Jeanna(Gene-duh), Slade (Mr. Slimey), Kimberley(Bimbo-ley), and the whole miserable brood of kids were unleashed on the unsuspecting viewing public. Whori's beau Whorge and Tranny and Duff & co. were new for this season and Bimbo-ley was drop kicked to Chicago.

Now when does that Orange County fire season start????

Omg that was the FIRST thing I noticed about this show, and btw I LOVE this show Im totally addicted. They portray themseleves and the show portrays most of them as being soooo wealthy. HA! The only seemingly wealthy one on that show is George. AND COTO is nothing, its nowhere near the beach and homes range from a few hundred grand all the way up to the 20millions--but none of them live in the crazy high end section. The community is HUGE--like a small city and there are tons of communities, esp in Florida, like "COTO". You dont have to be "rich" to afford living in there. I feel like all of these ppl are such wanna-bes, and nowhere near wealthy

Things i have noticed about the show
1) Slade's house has NO furniture in it. Has anyone noticed he has a sectional in the great room and that is it? His house is a million dollar house, not MILLIONS as they make every house out to be. Im not saying a million dollar house is "nothing", but I am saying they portray their belongings to be much more than they are. Also, the house's inside is so spec-home--all CARPET, the kitchen is so-so. What baller pad is ALL carpet? Where's the imported hardwood/marble flooring? Like they make the biggest deal out of the fact that Jo is driving around some E-class benz. An E- is middle range at best and there are always special promos going on with it. Its not a CL AMG or even an S 550 which is the classic mercedes sedan

2) Jo is DISGUSTING and dumb. Which makes me think Slade is really insane. Am I the only one who thought it was weird that she was going to the Playboy Party in a ratty pony-tail and no makeup? Im sorry but at least Lauri went all out with the hair and makeup when she went. It sounds petty but it really stood out to me in the show bc I thought Jo was just doing a "dress rehearsal" and not actually going that night looking HIT. If I was going to a celebrity party I would make sure I was totally done up

3) Vicki is the biggest resentful hick wannabe. First of all she is truly a hick at heart --- so when she acts snobby it makes me squirm bc its SO FAKE.--its like oh please 20 years ago you were prolly driving a burnt out pickup going to the local pool hall and wallmart so dont act like u cant comrehend life without luxury--u arent paris hilton who knows nothing else. Similiar to what I experience when Id watch Jessica Simpson on NEWLYWEDS acting snobby knowing she was below average $$ growing up--l. I think if you take someone like Paris Hilton, who has always had money and lived well, its different than a nouvou riche person acting snobby. And I thought Vicki was such a HATER when lauri got her new CLK and Vicki goes "so much for the stupid Yukon with the cracked windshield" WTF, how jealous are you that you have to be insulting. I also think Vicki thinks she is soooo gorgeous. Last season at her school reunion she just thought she was a hot piece. ALthough I do think she looks better this season, also looks to have lost weight

4) Lauri-- i dont know if any of the accusations are true, but she does seem like a vacant mom.When shes at sushi with josh and sophie and josh is saying "i feel like you and I arent connected anymore", and he isnt asking for anything special or trying to manipulate the situation, and her response is "Oh i had to. I still love you but i had to detach myself" I was like WHY do you tell your kid that? Even if its true. And I did think it was f*cked up that her former boyfriend was an addict and she let her kids be around him. But I think its great that she isnt enabling him. He has gotton in trouble many times, and it is important to lay out boundaries when kids have a pattern of getting into trouble.

5) And the worst one of all the housewives was the one last season-KIM. I could not stand her, she was probably the BROKEST one and the most stuck up. I also thought she was disgusting. She thought she was IT and her attitude, jealousy and catty-ness were ridiculous. Her attitude when she was getting a "LEXUS" that was akin to Jo's mid range E class, was as if she was about to purchase Buckingham Palace. They dont even make super expensive Lexus'. These are not Bentleys.

QUESTIONS:

1) Does anyone know how Jo and Slade met and hooked up?
2) Does Slade suffer from chronic depression or anything--he seems a little off kilter?
3) Did Slade and Lauri sleep together? I know they went on a few dates but how far did it go?
