Made me think of Edward Scissorhands personally. But in the same vein.
2nd episodes aired, right? Will watch it by the weekend no doubt.

My favorite new show of the season!!! along with Carpoolers...I did however think that it was Tim Burtons creation from the first 30 seconds that I saw it.

Australian viewers, expect it to start on Ch. 9 in February or January. And, as you know, expect it to fail as Ch. 9 buy every show they don't want because they hate everyone except for Aussie bumpkins like McLeod's Daughters who have posters in their dining rooms of meat pies (no really, I saw this).
I fucking hate Channel 9 with a passion. They are dildo-weeds with ancient devil souls. And I wish to God I was being overdramatic right now.

I don't think I will be watching it again. I tried to watch the second episode and couldn't get through it. I think without the narration, it might be okay, but that narrator telling me everything that's happening, as if I can't see it with my own eyes, just really grates on my nerves.

My favourite lines so far:
Emerson: How's he look?
Ned: Fine, but my threshold's pretty high so you have to take what I say with a grain of salt.
[Ned uncovers victim]
Emerson: That ain't a grain of salt. That's one of those blocks they give cows to lick.
Narrator: "As Mark Chase continued his monologue, unaware that it was completely inaudable from within the sealed body bags within the car, Chuck pondered why it was that she always seemed to die just as things were starting to get good."
Ned: "It's kind of a random proximity thing."
Emerson: "Bitch, I was in proximity!"

I am off to watch it now! (How long ago did it air in the US/Canada from when this was sent?)
I'm so excited!! I absolutely love this show. I am going to make it a ritual to watch this at 5pm every Thursday.

Ep 3 wasn't as good as the others but it was still a class above anything else I've seen lately!
Funniest moment- Aunt Lily lifting her eye-patch to allow mounds of blocked-up tears drip down her cheek!
