I liked Michael's dress...well, I always like his stuff (even his disastrous couture gown). Laura's dress was okay. I don't think it was that much more different than anything she'd done previously. Yeah it was a tad more "youthful" but I'm sure she would have worn that dress too. She's always designing for herself.

I really think/hope Michael will win this.

Yeah, I'm team save-a-ho too. What I like most about Michael is the way he takes and USES the critiques on him. He doesn't get all huffy or hurt, he just does it. He's a total class act. I will really miss Kayne, even though his designs went downhill, personality-wise he was definitely my fav this season.

I almost turned it off when I saw Vincent and Angela again. But, I stuck it out. I even almost voted in their contest about who should have been brought back. But, they didn't have a (D) All-of-the-above category.

What was Angela's dress? Gothic virgin-vampire?

And I know Kayne is a favorite here, but he grated on my nerves. Glad to see him and his beauty pageant tastes gone.....

I do think Michael is the best designer, but I think I'm gonna get behind Jeffrey just because he and I share a tendency to be misanthropic....we assholes have to stick together.....(now, THERE'S a mental picture I hadn't meant to foster.....).

Laura and Uli keep putting out the same styles. Uli ANOTHER scarf-dress and Laura another high waisted dress. If Laura's model hadn't suggested sleeves, it probably would have looked even more like her previous pieces.

I think Michael is just too good to win, I don't think he needs the help. Jeffrey needs all the help he can get....

    Uli ANOTHER scarf-dress QUOTE]

I kept looking at the model then at Uli, then the Model, then Uli, thinking
"Are any of the judges going to point out that they're both wearing the same basic dress?"

And I gotta start questioning Uli's intelligence when every week the judges all tell her "Do something different!" And every week, she does another "take" on the scarf-dress.

Please, Uli, make a pair of pants. Give us a blouse and skirt. Throw together a top and short set. But stop making those *$#@))!( scarf dresses. Enough already. You do it well. Stop.

My predictions for next week is it will be either Laura or Uli to go. I hope to God Michael wins this.

They seem to be getting pretty fed up with seeing the same shit from Uli. If she doesn't do a radical departure on the next go round she'll be the next one gone unless someone else just fucks up heinously. I think Michael, Laura and Jeffrey belong in top 3. I see Michael taking the win.

I agree completely. I think Uli is definitely the next one to go.

I'm tired of Uli and her scarf dresses, but I'm even more tired of Laura's high waisted/deep V dresses.

And am I the only one who thought the lace looked kinda old too?? I mean, what youthful person do you know who would wear an ENTIRE lace dress??

"The four current finalists at “Project Runway” also showed their creations — Michael Knight, his exquisitely tailored looks; a very pregnant Laura Bennett, a collection heavy on black lace and accented with faux fur, fringes and feathers; Jeffrey Sebelia, who softened his approach for the final ensembles; and Uli Herzner, who mixed animal prints, shimmer and even a tie-dyed dress. The winner will be announced Oct. 11.
