I refuse to watch Napoleon Dynamite, the people who told me Napoleon Dynamite is hilarious were the same ones who told me Anchorman is hilarious. I caved on Anchorman and suffered through that unfunny shite, I refuse to do the same for Napoleon Dynamite. Fool me once and all....

With Lost in Translation, the more I watch it or think about it, the less I like it. I actually own it and have watched it a few times. The first time I saw it, absolutely loved it. The more I think about it, the less I like, and I can't put my finger on what it is that's causing that.

I don't think I'd call 'Napolean Dynamite' hilarious. It was cute and it made me feel warm inside. It made me like humans.

ETA: Not that I didn't like humans before. I guess what I mean is... it's a mood enhancer.

Napoleon Dynamite was definitely better than Anchorman, but it was about the same as far as storyline progression goes. It was slow, but at least Napoleon had a good finish! Anchorman was total crap.

I'm in agreeance that Lost In Translation was crap too! I'd say that was even worst than the above two. I really wanted to turn it off, but I'm probably too patient for my own good. The only movies I've ever actually turned off were Black Dahlia and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Although I have allowed myself to fall asleep during many others.

    Exactly.

I was captured by it, it was beautiful and subtle. Lots of nuance.

I liked Lost in Translation, but I do think it was overhyped. And all y'all who said American Beauty was bad, you are insane.

Titanic - it drive me nuts that stupid Rose wouldn't share that door with Jack. She had room, give me a break! They just didn't try to get on it properly (yes, I've spent too much time thinking about that stupid door).

Worst movie ever - Fun with Dick and Jane.

I can't believe someone posted Babel. It was one of the best movies I've seen this year, far better than The Departed.
