PriceWaterhouse might lose their contract...but please don't hire KMPG; they are even worse.

Too too funny - I couldn't watch last night because I had a prior commitment so I'm just hearing about the stupid shit that went on today. Good grief, people.

I was having a semi-crappy night last night and the Oscars weren't doing their job as mindless distraction, so I turned it off and went and read a book. I'm pretty pissed I missed all of that. I could watch 80 years of the Oscars and nothing interesting will ever happen, but the second I turn it off...but I am finding it pretty amusing this morning.

2 things since my first post.
Once it was clear that Warren had been given the wrong envelope, he could have said "I think we've already had this CATEGORY", not "I have the wrong envelope" because that could have been misconstrued as him having prior knowledge to who was supposed to win.
But then I read that the people from PWH discovered they'd handed out the wrong envelope BEFORE Beatty&Dunaway had even reached their mark on stage, which makes me think they (all with communications through headsets) could have prevented the entire debacle by sending somebody after them with the right envelope. Idiots all around. It's a good thing Beatty held on to the wrong envelope.

awww poor warren. it really wasn't his fault.
is there any video of where faye went? i want to see her escape lol

and as much as it must have sucked for the la la land crowd, it really sucks that this fuck up distracted from the importance of moonlight's win. i mean, not only is it a phenomenal movie, it was made with 1.6 million dollars and doesn't feature a single white actor and it's a coming of age story about a black boy.
for once the oscars get it right and then they get the delivery so fucking wrong.

I fucking love Viola's unfiltered (even if accidentally honest) reaction to that repulsive asshole.

    Nice catch!

Wasn't his excuse that he's growing out for a role? I've known lots of men with long hair and beards and they look effin fine. He looks like something is rotting under there.

I did the same thing. I clicked over to something over as soon as they said La La. Then I clicked back like a minute laterr and there was pandemonium and I wanted to kick myself.
