    Wow you met her!

So many actresses these days look the same and bore me on the screen.

I think Halle Berry is a crap actress who did not deserve an Oscar by a long shot.

That was such a scam. It should have gone first to someone like Alfre Woodard. Now there's an actress.

While I don't think she should return her Oscar, I don't think Helen Mirren deserved one for "the Queen". The whole movie was incredibly overrated IMO, and while Helen is a superb actress, I think she should have gotten one for a better movie.

Sorry, didn't update here. Of course I finished it, and I LOVED it. The twist did catch me mostly by surprise at the end. The only reason why it wasn't a total surprise is b/c I watch the Law & Order franchise, and apparently they saw that idea and LOVED it b/c they've done it multiple times over the years

Damn you, Law & Order franchise! Damn you!

Actually, The Practice did that ALL the time, too. "He did it! No he didn't! Yes, he did! No, he didn't! The verdict is guilty! But then look the wife did it!" or "He did it! No he didn't! Yes he did! No he didn't! The verdict is not guilty! But whoops, Alan Shore discovered the knife in his clients shed! TOO LATE!"

But wasn't Edward Norton wonderful? And they gave the goddamn Oscar to CUBA GOODING, JR? I mean, I actually think Cuba's a good actor, and maybe some other year, but against Edward Norton as Aaron Stampler? Oh hell no.

I definitely agree. Ed Norton is such a brilliant actor, and I hate that he's never been officially recognized for it. His only major award is a Golden Globe for Primal Fear. However for some really strange, inexplicable reason I keep confusing him/roles he's played with Christian Bale. I've always done it and I don't know where it comes from, they don't even look remotely alike.

Edward Norton is definitely an incredibly talented, brilliant actor. I became a big fan the other night watching Primal Fear. I even watched it again last night. Only saw him falter once during that "duh duh duh" routine.

Primal Fear is great! I don't watch many films, but love that.

Yeah, I feel the same way. Norton is definitely one of the better actors out today, and the fact that he hasn't won anything yet is a travesty. I've got a feeling that if he evers win an Oscar it won't be until he's a lot older.

Sometimes, I get the feeling that since he's named after a character from the Honeymooners people have a hard time voting to give him an Oscar.

Don't tell too much about it. I put it on my Netflix queue and it will be here tomorrow.

I've already loved Ed Norton ever since American History X and 25th Hour.

I have to bump this thread, because it's the best ever.

This past week, I've seen both Primal Fear and What's Eating Gilbert Grape. I feel kind of pissed off now.

I can't live in a world when these actors have never won a Oscar and Halle Berry has.
