i (finally) got round to watching this and just finished the last episode.
i enjoyed it, fun show, well written. i don't hate piper the way a lot of people seem to. yes, she's white and waspy and privileged but i'm not jumping on the 'i must automatically hate anyone white and privileged' bandwagon trend of late. she's selfish and has narcissistic tendencies but who doesn't? and she definitely can't be alone and turned to vause once she was in jail, even though she knew (despite what larry told her, she must have known on another level) vause had turned her in to the feds. i think the 2nd season will be interesting, especially since she won't have vause or larry and will have to learn to really fend for herself. and she's already halfway there. she got herself out of SHU, she confronted healy, she got the bitch prison boss to tell healy off, she seems pretty capable of being friendly with a diverse set of inmates rather than just sticking to her crowd, the way most of them do.

i also want pornstache to come back. he's a sadistick fuck but he's hilarious. and also, i find pablo schreiber super attractive, even with that distracting 'stache.

^ i had no idea he was Liev Schreiber's brother. Well half-brother. He's playing a real creepy guy on Law&Order SVU--don't watch it but I've seen him on the commercials.

I enjoyed it, particularly towards the end. V makes for a good villain.

Yeah, she was a great villain. Definitely a psychopath. I was worried for a minute there at the end (spoiler font) that she was going to successfully escape, but then I saw the van coming down the road and I knew justice would be served.

I loved seeing the backstory of some of the other inmates. What did Poissei (sp?) get sent away for? A bit unclear on that.

I finished it in 48 hours. Super binged watched. I loved this season a lot more than the first one. I loved all the characters backgrounds and I loved that OAP weren't just pensioners. They had game.

I don't think it was clarified what Poussey's crime was. I thought her father standing up for was really great and I loved her background.

I'm in two minds about Vee, on one hand I thought it was great adding someone who had been in the prison before and knew Red and Norma but I honestly was sort of fed up with her for creating so many problems with Taystee and that crew and starting a race war with EVERYONE. I did think the ending with Rosa being the one who killed (?) her was actually satisfying. I mean who the fuck does that to a cancer person??

Piper, I was so annoyed with during the first episode but she became less annoying as the season went on but she's still so annoying.

The most surprising was obviously was obviously Morello's. Did not see that coming.

I will watch it again though because I'm sure I missed out on a lot of things.

Finally finished season 2. I think the way they're playing out Alex' story will be interesting.

Piper's character is not as annoying as season 2. I'm starting to kinda like her. Although, I think it's kind of messed up how she's treating Soso.

Vee is the worst but seeing how Poussey interacts with her makes me love Possey. I think she's my favorite on the show.

Season 2 was really good...better than season 1, I think. Can't wait for next season.

I love Poussey. I think she's sweet and adorable. I'm pretty sure she's there for drugs, I thought that's what Taystee was alluding to in one of their conversations. I think she was selling drugs. It sounded like it was something minor.

I wasn't really surprised at Morello, I've thought that her "relationship" with Christopher was mostly in her mind.

This season was a bit slow to me. I liked season 1 better. I liked the development of the relationships more than the time spent on the backstory of the minor characters.

I just finished season 2 and loved it. For those who have finished it, what did you think of the last scene of the final episode? I loved it!!

Finally finished the season a few days ago. I love/hate bingewatching so might have to watch again if I find the time.

It definitely kept my interest but I do think it was a little Vee-centric, the gang-turf stuff was getting old towards the end. Which of course made the ending quite satisfying even though I saw it coming I still yelled "YES!!!" when it did.

I missed it, but I was reading somewhere that Rosa's last statement was "more cowbell." Hysterical.

I knew Morello was living in fantasyland, but I was still a little surprised at exactly how delusional she really was.

    Poor Crazy-eyes.

I read Laura Prepon will be a regular next season so I guess it's a foregone conclusion she will be back in Litchfield.

Don't understand what either of those women see/saw in Larry.

I just finished watching and turned on subtitles to catch Rosa's last statement. They were "Always so rude, that one".
