I'd love that.
But I'd also love Lauren Graham.

That'd be good, but... can she do subtle comedy? The thing I like about Michael is that he's sometimes serious. I can't see Amy being serious. All I see is her as a Regina mother, and saying "SHIT! SHIT WHORE!"

^^i feel a little conflicted myself about how i feel about her joining the spinoff...i kinda prefer when they get unknowns. but, i guess i'll just wait & see.

I work at a video store and we're allowed to rent before they come out. We got them in 2 weeks advance.

I can't wait to see what happens between Dwight and Angela. They're so dysfunctional, I love them!

I gotta be honest, I didn't particularly favour the other night's episode. It lacked comedy. It was very dull and a little bit too long.

i, too, was a little underwhelmed with that episode...especially it being the season premiere & all.

Foxtel (TV1?) is showing a lot of the US Office at the moment. We had the Christmas ep this week with the secret Santa/Teapot incident. Now I've seen more of it I can see that it's been very cleverly tailored to a US audience, just as the UK version probably only really appeals to an audience there. Both make you cringe but in a different way.
I hope the US producers realise that Less Is More and that churning out series after series isn't necessarily a good thing. The UK Office went out with a bang after 2 series (+ a Christmas special) and that was perfect.

Well season 2 is really the high point (so far) of the US one, but season 3 had massive changes that kept it fresh and the humour was also there, it was just not as good due to the Jam trouble, but it was still all good. Season 4 was a bit of a let-down, but really not that much. Yet in one episode of season 5, they've almost jumped the shark.
I mean... RYAN!?!? Fuck. OFF. So unrealistic is it that he's out of jail after major fraud, and getting his old temp job back, that I almost want to stop watching. Ryan should go away. Keep BJ's talents to where they belong - writing the show only.

Yeah, it was definitely disapointing for a season premiere.
I loved how they panned to a brokenhearted Dwight learning about Michael shaving off his goatee (to copy Ryan again), and we see he has just finished growing his ill-maintained peach fuzz.
Or Creed's matter of fact: "That was not a tape worm."
