I hated the Matrix! What a waste of my time.

I recently saw Citizen Kane and didn't think much of it either. Supposedly the best movie ever? Nah-don't think so.

God there are so many I could name. Speed 2, The Hulk, anything with Tom Cruise, etc......

I liked Forrest Gump but Nell, OMG YES. Nails on a chalkboard. Torturous. Unbearable.

I've tried 3 or 4 times to watch Moulin Rouge and can only take about 10 minutes before I start feeling agitated and destructive. Forget it.

I am not a Simpson's fan. I don't watch the tv show. Watching the movie in the theater was punishment from God. Although I did like the part when he walked the pig across the ceiling.

Indecent Proposal with Demi Moore and Wooden Harrleson. I also didn't like A Scanner Darkly because of Wooden.

Oh God do I agree. Add: Black men in fat lady suits, chick flicks with a dancing and/or karaoke scene, "suspense thrillers" set in a sleek glass and steel corporate world or the White House, serial killer flicks where the killer takes out after the FBI agent and/or his/her family, and any period/romance drama starring Ralph Fiennes.

Lessee...I love four star movies and one star movies, (Can you tell, heh) but Iusually anything 'five star' is garbage. HATED the English Patient, Lost in Translation, Adaptation, About Schmitt, The Hours. And no, its not just that I don't get them...I am known for saying, "Wow, that was an AMAZING presentation of that story. Now why anyone would want to tell it in the first place is beyond me..." There are a few WONDERFUL five star movies..but anything that makes me feel like I just dumped a gallon of acid in my eye sockets on PURPOSE(?) just...no.

(And Forrest Gump is in my top 5, lol)

aww.. i loved Lost in Translation.. but it's a very "you have to be in the mood to watch it" kind of film.

I quite possibly shouldn't have seen it right after my friend died. Perhaps I'll try it again in a few years.

Two films that everyone said I had to see cos they were brilliant - Meet The Parents and E.T. Just plain bollocks IMHO.

Haha Lola, I hated Adaptation too. I dubbed it "Crap-daptation" the second I came out of the movie theater. Even offended some friends of my husband's that fancied themselves film buffs and just loved that movie. Don't care. It sucked for me and wasn't as clever as it seemed to think it was.
