Fucking breaks my heart every time.
Oh my god, yes. I think there's about 15 minutes straight after the mom dies where I'm crying. Absolutely bawling my eyes out though when the daddy says Bernice can't go with him.
You were lucky to have me. But you know what? I think I already got the best part of you. And she's standing right out there. I don't know... what's left just doesn't look so good anymore. Hope Floats

The Notebook- had me crying during different parts I can't remember the scenes that made me cry though.

Blood Diamonds- The ending and the scene where the son points the gun at his father and then he starts crying and stops pointing at his dad.

I am Sam- When he tries to prove that he can raise his daughter.

The Color Purple- had me crying throughout the movie.

The Pursuit of Happyness- It almost made me cry. my eyes were very watery.

    Scene that always gets me-

At Shelby's funeral in Steel Magnolias when M'Lynn is so hurt and trying to be so strong and finally lets the anger out. She says she wants to hit something. Miss Clairee grabs Ouiser (her "enemy"), shoves her in front of M'lynn, and says "Here....hit this."

This scene always gets me. It is sad and then there is laughter.

You youngters need to go rent 'Sybil' starring Sally Field. It is a killer film.

Meryl doesn't even try anymore. She just calls Lanvin and asks for curtains with a belt.~Bitter
Can we interest you in Leann Rimes? She has a nice little cadre of fans you'd probably enjoy.~ Pecan Pie

Love Actually - When Emma Thompson realises the 'surprise' Xmas gift she thought her husband bought her was actually for his mistress.

Yes - she thought he'd bought her some bling but it was a CD. The PAIN of realisation on that woman's face. Sniff.

Oh yes! Just heartbreaking. She goes off to the bedroom to cry alone for a moment and then comes out to put on her "mom" face. I always get so mad at Alan Rickman's character for being such a stupid, typical man! Grrr (I still crush on AR, though)

    God I love Emma T!

Most definitely Terms of Endearment and Steel Magnolias. But the thing that really really gets me is The Bridges of Madison County, like the whole last twenty to thirty minutes of it. I'm a wreck. I keep wanting to say when she's got her hand on that door handle - "go woman! Get in his car!" And then after she dies and she says that she gave her life to her kids and her husband, she wants her death to be given to her one love. Its so sad, I tear up now just thinking about it.

Not a film, but the scene in The Office Christmas special when Dawn opens the present from Tim. Awww, I love a happy ending.
A big boy did it and ran away.

It's interesting to think about, don't you agree, that so much emotion can come from a human being watching a movie that deep down we know is not real. Yet there we are, crying over it as if it's real.
Well I don't want to get all technical/supernatural but personally I believe every story that's ever told is real in some other dimension. That's why I'm careful not to kill characters off in any stories I ever write (although sometimes it happens) just in case it is real somewhere.
    Crazy man rant over.
