I don't even watch movies where the dog or other animal is clearly going to buy the farm. Big ol NOPE to Marley and Me, I Am Legend, John Wick was a non-starter.

Then, you definitely want to stay away from "In a Valley of Violence". And not just because of Ethan Hawke's acting.

It would be easier for me to note what doesn't make me cry. I'm a faucet.

Same here - I actually got misty-eyed watching a 60 Minutes report this Sunday on these ancient temples (Lalibela) carved out of one single block of stone in Ethiopia. I was like "holy sh*t - that is hard, amazing work!" Mrs Mo was looking at me like I might need to be medicated or something.

    Here's one of the temples:

Mo, they don't even make ballpoint pens that work more than twice anymore. I can't imagine anyone caring enough to carve a temple out of single block of stone. That would make me cry, too.

I don't watch movies that make me cry but i remember i watched a movie called 50 first dates and the story really made me cry. Really heart touching story and great performance by adam sandler and drew barrymore. Must watch if you like romantic comedy.

I didn’t cry, but it was sad when Artex died in The Neverending Story. I agree, I’m more sad about the animals, than people. It’s like that in real life too, not only in movies.
