Miss Venezuela was by far and away the most deserved of the crown. The judge that gave her the last question-Who was he- he was a drug fried idiot. Miss Venezuela answered as professionally as she possibly could, considering the question. I was so disgusted with the judging, as usual. Miss Japan seemed to diss Miss USA, as she jeered the mexicans before she spoke. Miss Venevuela politely set the standard for recognizing Mexico before she answered, plus she had to go first, which had to be tough. Anyhow, I hope she goes far in life, she deserves to be Miss Universe.

Venezuela is the plastic surgery capital of the world and most people regard 'looking good' as a full-time occupation. You can go into the tiniest little shop/cafe in the smallest town and the staff are all in full make-up, hair, nails immaculate etc. So it's not surprising their girls always do well in pageants.

I didn't watch the whole thing (what do you take me for?!) but I think the boo's for Miss USA were the locals expressing their feelings towards America, specifically the immigration thing. It was funny when she fell on her ass though.

Ya I heard it's practically an industry there in Venezuela, women spend upwards of 40 G's to look good. Not in my opinion what constitutes a beautiful woman. Even miss brazil looked like she was sporting some distracting implants. Again, not my cup o' tea. I've seen better looking south american women.

I agree about miss tanzania, even though I dont' like short hair, I think she has a great smile.

I'd be surprised if Miss Brazil did have implants; althought Brazil is well-known for PS, it's my understanding that they prefer smaller breasts.

It was stupid to boo Miss USA just because they don't like US politics, if that was the reason. It's really classless to boo any contestant and people who do make asses out of themselves.
