I don't know...my friend is Mexican and she's not Arabic. This Miss Universe is Puerto Rican so she's not Arabic either. I do know Charles Bronson and Jill Ireland's daughter is named Zuleika too...you pronounce it ZOO-LIE-KAH.

Tara was Miss Kentucky before she was Miss USA. I think she used the whole Kentucky Derby theme and wore it in patriotic colors. I've seen queens from Indiana wear a racing outfit because of the Indy 500. It's hard to come up with costumes that are creative. Didn't care for her gown at all.

My daughter & I had Japan picked too from the beginning.

Miss Puerto Rico is gorgeous, no doubt, kind of reminded me a little bit of Angelina. Her gown was made entirely of metal chains, did anyone read that? Geez, I don't think she even weighs enough to support the weight of a dress made of metal chains!! But on stage it stood out, bet it was HOT though.

I can't believe Miss Canada didn't make it into the final five. I thought she was gorgeous. She should have won. Although I didn't see them during last night's broadcast, my other favorites from viewing stills on the website were Miss Lebanon and Miss Egypt.

ETA: Miss Puerto Rico looked like LaToya Jackson. Her nose job was terrible.

I was shocked and peeved that Japan didn't win. Mostly shocked that Puerto Rico did win. Wasn't she the one who thought being an actress was a really important career?
