OMG, I didn't even recognize Mimi Rogers until I had to look her up on IMDB because it was bugging me. She looked so familiar! Anyway, anyone else want Peggy/Stan to get together? She was apparently upset to find out that he banged Pima.

Kinda pissed that Megan got a million outta him. Didn't Don say his finances were in a shambles since the McCann deal? Hope Betty doesn't find out she got that much. Also, Don didn't really bail on California, Ted begged to go in his place because of the affair with Peggy. Wonder if they'll address the Peggy/Ted situation, seeing as how he's now in the office full time.

I think Don is sad he's alone and that he's made some mistakes.

Curious as to how all this will end.
Oh, I agree about Roger. Marie was just an easy occasional shag, made safer as a married woman. But I think she'll latch on him like a barnacle, or try to anyway.

Re Betty, IIRC, Henry didn't want her to take any settlement from Don and said he would take care of her. STUPID.

True that Don did intend to go to CA but once his situation changed, I think he expected Megan to stay too. So...she made her choice. And he did too, all that time he was on involuntary leave, he didn't tell her and made no effort to spend more time in CA. Obviously that marriage was over as soon as she got on that plane, but it took them both some time to admit it.

I wondered about Ted too, had the impression he might not be with his wife anymore. In the 1st episode he talked about his apartment and I suspect he's living there alone.

I think lots of people are shipping them, but eh. It wouldn't bother me if they got together, but I kinda think Peggy's too good for him now. Not that he isn't a good guy and all, but she already had a relationship with a hippie type who wasn't that ambitious (Abe) and it didn't work out for her. I just think their relationship is more like deep friendship now, not sure if there's any unrequited romantic love there.

i wish they'd focus back on the actual ad agency. Wayyyy too much time away from it.

maybe they could set up for a Mad Men movie? go back to the 60's and do it again. And bring Sal back.

This. When there are only 5 eps to go, focus on who you've made us care about, not new characters, as Kris mentioned earlier. I don't care about the waitress or Megan's family or Megan, at this point.

And the Megan story had me scratching my head. "Wait a hot damn minute; wasn't she the one who bolted? Ended it finally and said 'you don't owe me anything?' Why did someone think we needed to know her sister or see her mother again? That is wasted time that could have been spent on the principals you set up from day one."

Yes. Bring Back Sal (the art guy, not the bratty daughter).

Best line of the night: Sally: "This conversation is too late Mother. And so am I."

And hello Glen!! It took me a few minutes to recognize him!

Ugh. Glenn. I recognized him as soon as I heard his voice. I guess Weiner couldn't resist giving his son one last acting hurrah. And he's still got the hots for Betty. Ew.

I thought there was going to be a Mrs. Robinson moment there.

Lou. The asshole who took Don's job when he was on leave. With his "Scout" cartoon. I guess every ad man they fired got jobs with the parent company, McCann. Remember Roger saying he couldn't go golfing with Pete because Bert Peterson was the account guy? (That's the guy he fired twice) So yeah, where's Sal? He deserves a cameo too!

^^ Either that or they shipped him off to LA because of his contract. I remember him bitching to Roger last season when they brought DD back in. He basically said something like, "I have a two year contract. So I can go sell papers in the lobby..either way, you're going to pay me."

That guy who's boffing Joan is a very alarming shade of orange. Have they deliberately made her son a Roger Mini Me? I would still totally do Roger, even with that stupid porno tache.

I so want Peggy and Stan to get together after last night's episode!

Pete and Trudy need to re-connect, too. And how funny was that scene with the headmaster at that pretentious day school for Tammy?! It was good to see Billy Moses as the headmaster. (Loved him on Falcon Crest.) That whole thing that Tammy didn't get in because she's a Campbell and the headmaster's last name was McDonald was great! Bit of Scottish history there.

This is the episode I've been waiting for.

Roger and Marie long term? blech

Joan ditches the co. and hauls her mom and Kevin to California with Richard for a happily ever after. She may end up working in Richard's office.

Peggy's scene with Stan was epic and incredible acting on both ends. I hope she just got a huge weight off her shoulders.

Classic Pete was back! Pete, Trudy is giving you all sorts of signals she wants you back. Don't be blind, both of you were better together.

Don. What shall Don do now?
