i haven't watched the last few seasons but i think overall it is a genius show and definitely in the top 3 best tv shows ever. so many other shows wouldn't even exist if the simpsons hadn't been there first.

I do, too. I have nothing against The Simpsons, and I watch it, but essentially it's just a show about a family that has it's moments where it's amusing. South Park has a stronger punch and it feels more like an experience. Especially when it's about currrent events.

I find south park, in the last couple seasons, has basically turned into a show expousing right wing viewpoints. It's a bit annoying to sit through the show and think to yourself "no, that's wrong. THAT is pure jingoism. Wtf, that's completely wrong too.."

My kids like the Simpsons, although both agree it's nowhere near as funny or imaginative as before. I still laugh sometimes because I can SO identify with Marge and what she has to put up with, including Homer LOL I agree with Grimm that South Park has become too politicized but if it's a way to educate the youth of today about some important issues they wouldn't otherwise have any clue about then I can forgive it. And Eric Cartman is my absolute hero.

I have to say A*O you sound like a really cool Mum.
My mum banned South Park in our house because my stupid catholic school at the time, sent a letter home complaining about the 'Jesus' character
