If this movie is about killer bees/Armageddon/a virus that kills most of the population, then I'm going to be disappointed.

I'm an easy target cause except for Lady in the Water, I've liked all his movies. Then again, I just like to go and veg for two hours and not get all jacked up on the plot holes or who dunnit. I pay more attention to someone's wonky eye than I do plot holes.

O.K., an 'enhanced' trailer is now up, they really upped the tension and excitement level for this one. The earlier trailers were somewhat more mysterious but this one kicks it up a notch. After a few weeks of ho-hum releases, I'll definitely have to catch this next week. I tell you I give M. Night so many chances even though his last two movies were turkeys.

"The Sixth Sense" was a GREAT movie. Unfortunately, EVERYTHING he's done since then gets worse and worse ...

    Pity ...

I liked his first four...Lady in the Water was...well...a bad idea. I liked Signs, despite the water thing. At least you don't kill the aliens with yodeling.

I know his "twist" schtick is wearing thin and everyone gripes about how overrated he's become, but I can't help it. All the commercials and trailers really, really make me wanna see this one!

He is a one hit wonder. Sixth Sense was good. Everything else was lame.

I know what the "twist" is. Spoiler below:

Everyday plants are giving off some kind of neurotoxin. That's it. you breathe it in, you go stupid, then you die. Wooopdee.

Me too! DH and I are going on vacation in a couple of weeks and we're going to see it.

One weird question, in the beginning of the trailer, the train guy says they've lost contact with "everyone" but there's several passengers talking on their cell phones while he says that. It doesn't make sense.

Damn you, I can never help but check the spoilers, because I'm too nosy.

    How do you know this?

Wow! No offense but I'm glad I'm not as intelligent as you. I really liked The Village. I don't know how you'd suspect such things so easily! You should work for the Government or something.

I'm excited for this, I enjoy his movies. I will admit that I didn't see Lady In The Water because 1. it didn't intrest me 2. it didn't really seem like his "style". It just doesn't seem to fit the mold that his other films have, that make them so enjoyable to me.

Signs is my favorite of his movies, and probably in my top ten favorite movies. It never gets old to me. People debate and argue the water situation, it's a movie about aliens...exactly how deep do you expect it to go?

I just came home from seeing the midnight showing of The Happening. I don't even want to talk about it.
