i won't really binge, i just like knowing i can start the next episode if one ends on a cliffhanger or something, and i don't have to wait a week to know what happens.

Im on the 3rd episode now. OMG There's a little bit of American Horror Story thrown in this season. So good.

    Crap the first scene!!

After bingeing the first two seasons I am going to have a horrible time being spoon-fed episodes weekly after this first batch of three. Arghhh.

They should also make the sound track to this series available.

Just finished the first three episodes. I find this show fascinating, especially given current events.

Elizabeth Moss has some of the most unusual facial expressions.

Why are there no showers in Gilead?

I agree with you Tulip. Alexis Bledel is very good as Emily, great facial expressions as well.

I think they use tubs as much as possible to save water, they're so green and everything. I haven't read the book...nor the bible.

I don’t remember where I read it, but it has to do with the possibility of suicide. Hanging yourself from a shower head versus drowning.

The one song they included in a past episode is about a school shooting in 1979. Not sure they were aware of that.

    I caught that!

I finished episode 3 late last night and the first thought I had this morning was wondering why Canada has so much food. I thought that Gilead and the world had experienced some kind of major catastrophe and that's why babies weren't being born. In another season, even the Mexican government wanted in on Gilead's baby-making action. Maybe I'm confusing the two things, but I thought the affected crops were what caused the infertility and even the new Gilead grocery stores' shelves are empty but apparently Luke is up there making apple pies and everything.

That’s a great question...hadn’t picked up on that.

I think the declining birth rate is blamed on pollution and radiation affecting crops and agriculture but Gilead seems to have fared worse than Canada. Added to that Gilead has had sanctions on trade from the rest of the world whereas Canada hasn't.

Anyone watch episode 5 yet? I dont want to give away spoilers.

I am so not an emotional person, but everything I watch makes me so angry because this reminds me of the bullshit going on in the US when it comes to women's rights.

At this point, I'm not sure if I want to punch Serena or hug her. Aunt Lidia can put herself on the wall. I will digress until you guys get caught up.
