I googled for the exact quote, lol. I knew it was in there, but it would have taken way longer to find the quote in a physical copy. Lazy research, oops.

I am still on my free trial of Hulu (til mid-March). I just started watching this a few days ago and thanks to a stomach bug and working from home yesterday and today, I'm up to the fifth episode. Really good. Wasn't what I thought, but I am hooked.

Your research fu was better than mine, Becky.

I don't know where I even put my copy of the book. And I must have had 2 at some point, because I read it in a psych class in college and later bought a different copy. I wonder where the first one is, but maybe I gave it away when I got the newer one. Odd.

    I can't wait.
I am still slightly skeptical, because they have no book material to support the show now (and it didn't do GoT a lot of good) but the writer is still involved in the new season so it might still be really good in the end

So the book ended with her getting carted away with no answers? That would drive me crazy!

I'm secretly hoping that the baby's father has connections and is getting her somewhere safe but the trailer I've seen tells me otherwise.

    Book Spoilers in white:

Essentially....yes. She gets in the car, and that is the end of the story. It then moves to an epilogue set as a college professor in the future (or something similar...it's a lecturer) presenting her story saying that the book was taken from her tapes that she recorded sometime after she got in that car. So, they know that the car was related to the resistance, but they weren't able to verify her actual identity so don't know if she survived and escaped completely.

Has anyone read the updated edition that came out last year? I didn't pick it up since my copy is already the Kindle edition, but I heard there was more added at the end. I'm curious if it actually added anything to the story.

I didn't realize they weren't releasing the whole season at one. I like to binge watch on my weekends

The scene where they were gathered up at Fenway Park with the nooses was haunting...especially with that music. I thought that scene was so well done. I was literally watching with my hands over my eyes.

Ya but it doesn't make sense, June's prego and they take a chance like this, any normal woman would have lost their baby having that done to them. This season is starting out especially evil. I hate Aunt Lydia with every fiber of my being, the actress is doing a top notch job.

The child's father knows, so does the cook and the Commander.
