Finally got around to watching last night's episode, stupid work
I need the soundtrack to this show when it comes out. Need.
I really hope that I don't cry at the end of every episode, so far I'm 2 for 2. I do hope that they keep closing the show with musical numbers. It seems to round it out really well.
Loving the different types of crazy from both Emma and the wife. Jane Lynch is as brilliantly hilarious as she always is.
I also hope that in the future they don't overproduce the songs as much as they've been. With the exception of Finn, who really has no previous singing experience, the rest of the actors are pretty much all trained. Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison are Broadway vets, and the other "kids" can sing too. They don't NEED the kind of production most popular singers need now, it would be nice if the songs sounded more like they were actually performing them instead of recorded in a studio and assaulted with AutoTune.

This show is awesome, I love it so much. I'm crossing everything that I can cross that FOX is going to give it a good chance and it will survive. I worship the ground Jane Lynch walks on, she's amazing.
Plus, you can buy the songs from iTunes already, which is awesome.

Where can I watch it on? I saw billboards for this and read a review on Entertainment Weekly and been dying to see what the show was like.

It's on FOX. It will be on tonight -- 8 pm central time. I bet you can catch the previous episodes online.

Greys, try the Fox page (be wary of any Glenn Beck internet viruses, though)

I think the girl who plays Rachel is a Broadway vet as well. I'm not sure about the rest.

The only ones I know for sure that have theater backgrounds are Matthew Morrison (the teacher), Lea Michele (the lead girl), and Jenna Ushkowitz (the stuttering Asian girl). Matthew Morrison was the original Link in Hairspray on Broadway, Lea Michele was in the original Broadway cast of Spring Awakening, and Jenna Uskowitz was an understudy for Spring Awakening.

Okies, thank you.
I'll be sure to watch it over the weekend though. School's getting pretty hectic for me.

Adding that Amber Riley (plays Mercedes) also has musical theater background, she was in Into the Woods, Kevin McHale (Artie) was in a boy band, Chris Colfer (Kurt) has mostly high school musical theater credits (he's only 18), and Mark Salling (Puck) is a songwriter with an album coming out.
