Yeah and a crappy version at that. I rented the DVDs of the real The Office and could not believe the nerve of someone who would try to imitate the comic genius of Ricky Gervais.

Ricky Gervais was involved in the US version of The Office; it's not like NBC copied it without his permission.

I thought the US version was good.

Hehehe...that show was great at the beginning but it suffered near the end of its run. There was a Christmas special that was absolutely dismal where Hyacinth runs into Daisy and Onslow on a cruise ship. Simply awful.

Have you seen Little Britain? THAT is brilliant.

Most of the stuff I like gets cancelled. For instance, some of my cancelled favorites:
    The Comeback (HBO, Lisa Kudrow)
Working (with Fred Savage, late 90s)
Freaks & Geeks (ok, not a sitcom, but damn i loved that show and i'm still pissed it got cancelled)
Third Rock from the Sun (at least this one lasted 5 or 6 seasons)
    NEWS RADIO!! (ditto)

    Stuff that's still on:
    THE SIMPSONS!!
    SOUTH PARK!!!
Arrested Development (this was in danger of being cancelled, of course)

I think that's it for my favorites. I left "stuff I like" off this list.

YO! WHO YOU CALLIN' CRAPPY???!!!?!? The Office starring Steve Carrell is fuckin' funny! Besides, nobody should try to imitate anybody else's comic genius. SC's comic genius stands on its own, by golly! :p
