Denzel Washington - If he's in a movie it's going to be good.
I like Pacino and Deniro too - Heat was one of my favorites.
Russell Crow in Gladiator. That part was made for him.
The Count of Monte Cristo. - Jim Caveziel (sp)

I hated the movie but Jim Caviezel should have won an Oscar for his Jesus performance in The Passion. It was incredible.

Many of mine have been mentioned already but I'll repeat some of them.

Susan Sarrandon in Thelma and Louise

    Meryl Streep in Sophie's Choice

    Peter Sellers in Being There

    Shirley MacLaine in The Apartment

    Sue Lyon in Kubrick's Lolita

Michael Caine in Alfie and in Get Carter (I'd like to pretend that the craptastic remakes for both those movies never existed) He was also amazing in the Cider House Rules and as Nicolas Cage's father in The Weather Man

Orson Welles in The Third Man. Simply iconic.

Judy Dench in Notes on a scandal

Cate Blanchett in Elizabeth and in Notes on a scandal

Helena Bonham Carter in Wings of the Dove and Fight Club and as Ophelia in Mel Gibson's otherwise craptastic Hamlet

Kate Winslet and Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

John Cusack in the Grifters and in High Fidelity

Hugh Grant and Nicholas Hoult in About a Boy

Jennifer Jason Leigh in Paul Verhoeven's Flesh and Blood and as Dorothy Parker in Mrs Parker and her Vicious Circle

Rutger Hauer in Blade Runner, The Hitcher and Flesh and Blood

Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver and in The Mission

Jeremy Irons in Dead Ringers and in The Mission

James Woods in Once upon a time in America

Jodie Foster in Taxi Driver and in the Accused

Al Pacino in Scarface and the Godfather I and II

    Dustin Hoffman in Midnight Cowboy

Burt Lancaster in Il Gattopardo (and whoever dubbed him, I guess)

Hillary Swank, Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman in Million Dollar Baby

Faye Dunaway in Chinatown and in Bonnie and Clyde

Warren Beatty in Bonnie and Clyde, Splendor in the Grass, Heaven can wait and Bugsy

    Catherine Deneuve in Repulsion

Jack Nicholson in Five Easy Pieces, One flew over the cukoo's nest, Chinatown and About Schmidt

Harvey Keitel in Bad Lieutenant (I just love Abel Ferrara)

Madonna (I shit you not) in Snake Eyes

James Marsden (Mr Blond!!!) in Reservoir Dogs

Isabella Rosselini and Dennis Hopper in Blue Velvet

    Jeff Bridges in Fearless

Billy Bob Thornton in Sling Blade and in The Man who wasn't there

    Jon Voight in Runaway Train

Anjelica Houston in Prizzi's Honor and in The Grifters

Gary Oldman and Chloe Webb in Sid and Nancy

Kevin Kline in A fish called Wanda

Bill Murray in Lost in Translation and in Broken Flowers

Jack Lemon in Some like it hot, The Apartment and in Missing where he completely broke my heart

    Jessica Lange in Frances

Celia Johnson in Brief Encounter. I had to look up her name but I'll never forget her performance.
