Really? If that scared you then don't watch Law and Order!
Seriously, I thought that was more of a court drama than a horror movie. I was disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised with Wrong Turn. I thought the mutants were better (creepier) in that than in The Hills Have Eyes.

Re: Favorite Horror Movies
The movie that bothered me most and stayed with me longest after i saw it the first time was Seven, although that's not really horror I guess. But there really are people out there like that, which made it much scarier to me than a Jason/Freddy movie (and also less fun).
My fave of all-time is Rosemary's Baby (most people probably wouldn't consider that scary either though), The Omen, and 28 Days Later. And we can't forget Night of the Living Dead, that's also a great one.

What is seven about? I've heard of it but can't remember!

Re: Favorite Horror Movies
I was almost traumatized after watching My Little Eye... my BF and I had weeks where we didn't see anything other than horror movies, and that just about did it for me. Didn't see a scary movie for about 6 months afterwards... The Ring also shook me up pretty bad. I almost didn't dare shower alone for two weeks because I was scared the little girl would stand in front of the shower curtain when I was done. :]

Re: Favorite Horror Movies
Thanks so much Tiki for the warm welcome!
Hi Tiara! Seven is about a serial killer whose MO is based on the seven deadly sins. It stars Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwenyth Paltrow and Kevin Spacey. Really disturbing stuff that stays with ya for a while (I thought so anyway).

I LOVE that movie. I never would have considered it horror, though. Kevin Spacey was incredible.

Re: Favorite Horror Movies
I'm not big on horror films as a rule (because I'm a big whimp and end up watching them with my hands over my face), but my absolute favorite remains Silence of the Lambs. I prefer psychological horror to blood and gore, and the chemistry between Clarice and Lecter is enthralling.

Re: Favorite Horror Movies
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I love horror movies, even the stupid ones. Here's my list:
Silence Of The Lambs
American Psycho
Final Destination
The Sixth Sense
Scream
Cabin Fever
The Exorcist
Saw
Hostel
Texas Chainsaw Massacre
28 Days Later
Dawn Of The Dead
(most zombie movies)
I'm sure there's more, but that's a good chunk of them.

Re: Favorite Horror Movies
Finally saw House of 1000 Corpses this weekend. It was okay, not as good as the Devil's Rejects. It seems like they kept all the good characters for the Devil's Rejects, which was good. I LOVE Tiny! Matthew McGrory is so awesome. I can't believe he's dead.
