You know it is a 'chick flick' in one regards. My best friend and I saw it together but our husbands refused. They are both too uncomfortable watching a film about gay men. I gave mine hell about that..

    My favourite is Casablanca.

I guess I'm pretty lucky in that my husband likes chick flicks, too. We both enjoyed Brokeback Mountain but people assume I somehow forced him to watch it with me.

Has anybody else noticed that The Bridges of Madison County had a stuntperson listed in the credits? That blew me away. I was racking my brains trying to think of what that could have been for.

Aww, I love the Bridges of Madison County, I watched it last week. The bit where she has a bath and the water from where he had a shower is still dripping gets me every time.

I can't think why a stuntman would be needed, how strange

I just got When Harry Met Sally from my blockbuster online thing. I'll probably watch it later today, but most of my friends tell me it's SO good and they can't understand why I've never seen it.

I used to watch the movie The Women with my grandmother. Didn't understand much of it at the time. Now it is my favorite chick flick.
    Romancing the Stone
    Princess Bride
    Room with a View
    Sabrina- original

There was a movie about an English woman who goes on vacation to Greece. Can not remember the name. Good movie- has discussions with the camera about her life and how to pronounce clitoris. Can't remember the damn name. Good chick flick.

I'm going to go with When Harry Met Sally as my all time favorite, followed by Muriel's Wedding, Steel Magnolias, and A League of their Own

My all time favorite has go to be Dirty Dancing. I love that he is so freaking hot and she's kind of plain and they actually have sex in the movie, rather than just kissing in the last scene.
Muriel's Wedding is my favorite movie of all time but I feel like labelling that a chick flick is doing it a disservice.

    Say Anything, definitely.

I cant believe it hasnt been mentioned yet. I mean, the whole standing outside the window with the stereo playing "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel? Awesome.

I imagine if it happened to me in real life I'd be weirded out, but as far as in a movie goes, totally romantic.
