I love Phils ideals, fat kids and marrying a girl who can cook. "kids today they are fat!" lol!!! I love me some miss kay!

THe frog catching episode at the country club was great! I loved the way Phil just quietly ran off when security came!! " Its every man for himself"

Anyone else still watch this show? I just got into it a few weeks ago while my dad was watching it and almost wet myself laughing. Si is certifiable.

I still watch it, the new season shows every Wed night & the have a DD Marathon every Friday as well. There really isnt anyone I dont like...

I love all the guys too. My son says he can't stand Miss Kay - says she's fake and contrived and uses too damn many cliches... tsk... that's mah boy! I find Jase completely doable...

I heard in the show somewhere that Phil and Kay have 4 boys, but I don't think I've seen but three - Jase, Willie, & Jep. Have I just missed seeing the 4th son? The other three are all pretty doable, imo.

ETA2 One of the ministers at the White’s Ferry Road Church that morning had been Phil and Kay’s oldest son, Alan, whom the family regards as a sort of reverse black sheep: he’s the only one without a beard. He had recently told the congregation that he was stepping away from the ministry: Willie had asked him to help run Duck Commander because once filming for the show begins, everyone else is occupied with the business of making a TV show.

^ Interesting article and the oldest brother definitely sticks out like a sore thumb. I like this bunch; they're funny, but they don't rely on raunch to get there. I like a bit of raunch sometimes, but it's nice to have something I can reliably watch with family that won't turn embarrassing.

I hope they've hired some *Real* workers if most of the family is consumed by filming the show... They never appeared to actually work much anymore anyway, which I'm sure is for the benefit of the show.

I'd say more old school & "southern" than anything else. I like how Phil is vocal about outright ignoring her...

Yeah, they gave Si the single edit for sure. I thought he was the eccentric bachelor uncle and it turns out he's got a missus. I wonder how she feels about not being included?
