I actually was surprised that Chloe beat Maddie this time, because based only on what we saw, I thought Maddie blew her out of the water.

If I had to guess, Maddie is just too over the top. Too Schmaltzy and pageanty. To me, she didn't look like she loved the dance. She's technically a better dancer than Chloe and usually a better performer, but this time Chloe really performed her solo and was better to watch (IMHO).
Abby is really going too far in her "motivating" the dancers, it's abusive and pathetic, surprised she hasn't had a heart attack yet.
I did love that the group dance brought the moms to tears. As many times as they've seen their daughter dance.

Poor Vivi, she's only dancing for her mom. Free Vivi! As for Maddie, I dunno I think maybe the judges had a point in making her third because she did the whole routine with her chest thrust out in a weird way.

Meh. Abby's loud but the kids don't seem to be intimidated by her. I'm getting a little ticked off at the scriptedness of the show though. I may have to give up on this one.

my sisters dance studio is competing in chicago today and I was told by my mom this morning that dance moms are there and lots of cameras. If I hear anything crazy Ill share. i dont watch these shows but my brother said like any reality show with kids the moms are bitches. I did tell my sis to kick their ass!!!!!!!!
