He looks kinda sexy in a guy-next-door-that-you-might-run-into-at-Home Depot sort of way though.

Aussie Trivago ad. Here goes with my very first embedded video. Wish me luck.

That is infinitely better than ours. The guy, I swear looks like he just woke up from a bender and ran to Sears to buy jeans.

I usually miss commercials for the most part because that's when we do our talking or I go outside. I must say though that I love the commercial with the song " so you had a bad day" with all of the sad football losers because the part where the girl is crying in her car with mascara running down her face could have been me back in the day.

So many questions but so few answers.

I also use him as a gauge of my emotional and mental health. If I'm feeling particularly lonely and desperate I think -- yes, I would hit it.

ETA: I think part of the disconnect is that he looks like he DIDN'T use Trivago--like he slept at the airport.

My mission is to find these discussions. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I love the Acura commercial where the woman is singing Blondie's Rapture, while accidentally on speakerphone. It's awesome and it's something I would do.

I just Googled "Trivago Guy" and oh my god, it really is everywhere. I thought I was the only one to be perplexed by him, and not know whether to be repulsed or enamored. This video parody is hilarious too

I think they wanted to use the average guy next door that you might run into at Home Depot type to encourage average people to travel. I don't know.

Oh, and while I'm on here. I've HAD IT with the damn GEICO commercial where the people are at the zoo yelling out to the camels "What DAY is it? It's hump day! Mikemikemikemikemike" And the camels go "And it's not even Wednesday." OK, it's like GEICO is laughing at its own joke. That joke was over last year. OK?

Don't know if these have been mentioned but two I officially hate--one for Value City Furniture where the couple are arguing how to pronounce "chaise" -- chase or shaaaaze. Just STFU both of you!

The second one is also for furniture, not sure of the brand but the man and woman start gagging while looking at their old furniture, like they're getting ready to puke. Please! I don't want to watch (or hear) people dry heaving, thank you very much!
