I love A Christmas Story. Whenever they do that marathon on TBS or TNT, I end up watching it more than once. Never gets old.

And we watched it again tonight. Can't get enough of it. Love the father's swearing. Love it with the lamp. Love it with the turkey. Love it with Scott farkel (yellow eyes!). Will probably watch it several more times before Christmas.

Do you get TBS or TNT? One of them has the yearly 24 hour marathon on Christmas Eve.

I saw a little "leg lamp" Christmas ornament the other day at a Hallmark store. It was so cute.

I sadly have it on DVD. Our old copy was watched so many times that it sort of self-imploded and we had to get another copy.

I had never heard of this movie until I was halfway through college...don't ask me how, I'm a huge movie buff. Too many pretentious arts flicks back when, I suppose.

When I finally saw it for the first time in 1998 I was like, "This is sooo awesome! Why didn't anyone TELL me about this," lol.

Love it, though I only see it once every few years so it doesn't lose its magic for me

I love this movie. A neighbor of ours actually has a leg lamp in his window during the holiday season. It's FRAGILE -- must be from Italy.

I've read the book, and while I liked it,a lot of what's in this movie is not in the book. Actually, the part of the book this movie is based on is quite short. It's still pretty good though, and I love the title of it.
