Adding a made-for-HBO movie, "And The Band Played On", about the discovery of AIDS and Reagan's refusal to acknowledge it. First rate cast.

This is a really tough question. I don't think I could ever pick just one.

OK -- thought about it. There are movies that I think are amazing movies, and ones I can watch any time they're on.

I have seen parts of Legally Blond, 13 Going on 30, Romy & Michelle, Ever After and Never Been Kissed dozens and dozens of time. They are fun, mindless and take me to a happy, mindless place

Sentimentally, I love The Sound of Music. I went to school in Salzburg.

I love The Year of Living Dangerously. This was before Mel was revealed to be a total whack job racist. How to Make an American Quilt, Moulin Rouge, Men Don't Leave, The Usual Suspects, Slumdog Millionaire and Map of the Human Heart are also ones I really like. I could probably go on and on.

I made this thread because I wondered what jimmy or I would say to this question if we were asked it on the newlywed game. I think he'd say The Warriors.

    Impossible to pick just one.

But one of my first thoughts, always, is Pan's Labyrinth. Life is Beautiful tops the list. Bridges of Madison County stays with me.

Movies I always stop and watch if I come across them: Rock n Rolla, Ocean's 11 (this shit is just fun, i don't care), Man on Fire.
